“unredeemable badness” about sums the CCP up
Chinese citizen journalist missing for 2 months after reporting on coronavirus in Wuhan reappears
Li Zehua was last seen on February 26 after he posted a video to several social media platforms which showed him being chased by a white SUV and a live stream that ended when officials entered his apartment, according to the Guardian...
...After spending some quarantine time in Wuhan, he was then driven to a quarantine center in his home town before spending time with his family. He was released on March 28 but Wednesday was the first time he had posted a video since.

Chen Quishi and Fang Bin are still missing
There’s no discomfort, not even cold sensitive, and I’m hitting it with peroxide base mouthrinse every few hours. Hopefully my regular dentist will call back tomorrow morning, if not, will try others - should be able to get at least an antibiotic prescription from my Dr. if need be, tomorrow, plus the temporary “cement”, tomorrow too.
Amazing how different people in China’s views are after they see their family.
You’d think the CCP had discussed things with their fsamily!

All,
The US daily fatality index (DFI) improved a little, but basically is about the same as for yesterday. The US is back under a 5% growth rate and under for two days now .
US projected fatality numbers for today was very close to the actual number, with 49,770 deaths projected and worldometers.info posting an actual number of 49,845. Since last night's projection seems on target, and likely to continue for tomorrow as well, I've re-posted the projection below.
US case number growth rate remained constant for today, with 31,487 new cases added for a total of 880,204.

China’s ambassador to the U.K. has hit out at international criticism of Beijing’s handling of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, dismissing accusations that the Chinese Communist Party bungled its response as insolent.
China continues to block US scientists from examining coronavirus: Pompeo
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said China continues to block US scientists from entering the country to study the coronavirus as Hong Kong researchers estimated that the number of cases could be four times higher than Beijing previously reported.

Doctors warn coronavirus causing blood clots and sudden strokes in young healthy patients
Dr Thomas Oxley, a neurosurgeon in the Mount Sinai Health System in New York, said his team usually treats less than two stroke patients under the age of 50 every month. But in the last two weeks they have seen five young coronavirus patients who suffered a sudden stroke despite being otherwise well.
The virus seems to be causing increased clotting in the large arteries, leading to severe stroke, Dr Oxley told CNN. Our report shows a seven-fold increase in incidence of sudden stroke in young patients during the past two weeks. Most of these patients have no past medical history and were at home with either mild symptoms (or in two cases, no symptoms) of COVID
