Well, whatever effort you think is justified.
Would be great, but could be a chimers.
A prophylaxis for ALL viruses. What a great tool!
(Apparently, it didn’t succeed against cancer though.)
It’s not the hole I’m worried about.
True. But, now you know how I feel. It wasnt supposed to be that deep.
I guess youre right about the current situation. The virus might find an opening to exploit there.
My self extraction was more than five years ago. I still fondly remember the crunch of the pliers ;).
From his link above...

Aptamers are short single-stranded oligonucleotides that are capable of binding various molecules with high affinity and specificity. When the technology of aptamer selection was developed almost a quarter of a century ago, a suggestion was immediately put forward that it might be a revolutionary start into solving many problems associated with diagnostics and the therapy of diseases. However, multiple attempts to use aptamers in practice, although sometimes successful, have been generally much less efficient than had been expected initially. This review is mostly devoted not to the successful use of aptamers but to the problems impeding the widespread application of aptamers in diagnostics and therapy, as well as to approaches that could considerably expand the range of aptamer application. “
So people are giving Trump a hard time about his comments today, but I actually thought it was a a reasonable question for a non medical person about UV light inside. I mean, we put cameras into stomachs, etc.
Here is a company using UV blood treatments https://bornclinic.com/service/ultraviolet-blood-treatment/

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) A food processing facility at the Quonset Business Park has become a COVID-19 hotspot in Rhode Island, WPRI 12 has learned.
Taylor Farms New England, which makes salad and other fresh foods for grocery stores, has had about 100 cases of the disease associated with its North Kingstown plant, R.I. Department of Health spokesperson Joseph Wendelken said in an email

Lots of Twitter liberal are having fun with him though.
I hope this doesn’t mean that media has learned not to take Trump’s bait. It’s so funny when they do!
*** SAMS run today.....
But no celery. Rats. ***
Do you ever “regrow” celery from the base of the stalks?
I have some in my kitchen window growing in a jar w/ water in the bottom.
It would be just like Trump to have read that study before making his remarks. LOL
Today's case increase is about the same as yesterday's spike.
Unless we find a cure, or vaccine, the coronavirus will slowly infect most of the world's population who don't take personal protections seriously. And I don't know how long we can continue these unprecedented containment measures. I'm not sure even Korea will be able to do so for much longer. Certainly the US seems ready to abandon most of what is in place.
Another thing that worries me are the long term consequences of having had the virus, like permanent organ damage, infertility, and the virus reemerging in the body.
For the elderly (most of FR) the coronavirus will remain a significant threat. The CFR is anywhere for 3.4% to 18%, depending upon which age group the elderly fall into. That's not changing for the foreseeable future, barring a cure.
Average age of all country populations are likely dropping noticeably in coming months. And unless we can develop the medicine to mitigate this pathogen very soon, the world for the next few months and years will increasingly seem alien.
This is a long way from being over. :(
my guess? not peta, laraza - illegal workers recently hired are hiding that they’re sick and going to work anyway, as packers increase hiring for third shifts but without somehow incorporating social distancing into the lines

“We are all afraid, said Maria, who works on the evisceration line at a Tyson plant in Arkansas and asked to be identified by her first name. The problem is if people feel sick, theyre not going to say anything because they need the money. They dont want the points.
My BIGGEST hope is for a general virus, or coronavirus, treatment/cure to come out of this.
Lot of money out there!
Lol
