That is moving, and you did do it justice. Thanks for filling me in.
You’re very welcome. It was quite powerful when he said it.
Yep, Im not bored either. No stir crazy, at least so far. Plenty of projects to work on, 3 German Shepherds and a very large cat to enjoy and manage.
I had to stop taking care of my friends dogs though. I cant risk going over there to do that. I miss them very much, the people and the dogs.

Ditto here. I have only been away from the house twice since Christmas. Those were required trips to the Dr. I never go out during cold weather if I can avoid it.
I have plenty of projects going on in the house, and in a few days, we’ll be transplanting and getting the garden going full swing.
Slowly working on clearing out the freezer by dehydrating or canning stuff that we froze last season and haven’t used yet. Have to make room for the next harvest.
“So basically for the majority of business owners, the CDC was THE authority on this”
True, but it’s not necessarily ‘trust’, it’s liability. If they are doing what the government says, they’re basically immune from being sued. But if they do less (such as ignore social distancing), and someone gets sick, they get sued by their employees. If they do more, and shut down early, then they get sued by shareholders.
It sucks, but it all filters up to the government, but not necessarily because they trust the government to be right.
Everyone should watch that segment of Tucker’s show, from tonight.
The entire show was great.
Right, its legal authority, whether they agreed with it or not.
“That puts them at least to 1,000/day when home deaths are considered. In a single city.”
Now consider that the average number of people who die every day in NYC is about 250 without Coronavirus - and we see more and more Wuhan stories coming to life, right here.
As of Tuesday, the Navy said 79% of the Roosevelt crew had been tested for the coronavirus, and 230 of them were positive. About 2,000 of the 4,865 crew members had been taken off the ship.

“Today we published a detailed blueprint for how the U.S. can build a robust surveillance and case-based system to reduce the risk of future #COVID19 outbreaks. We outline the elements of effective surveillance, testing, and track and trace interventions... “
Coronavirus: 10 public transport workers die after testing positive for COVID-19
The Mayor of London has said all of the employees, eight of which were bus drivers, died in the last few days.
“I agree about Rush. He was very slow getting behind candidate Trump...I was a daily listener, and I remember one show where he kept whispering Ted Cruz as an answer to the questions he was asking. He did this several times during this show.”
He was actually making fun of us just prior to Trump locking it up, by calling us Trumpists. But, after that, he was rock-solid behind Trump, as far as I can remember, at least.
Too bad Cruz waiting so long to come around...nearly cost Trump the election.
God love Dr. Birx for her military service, but granting commissary punchcard passes probably isn’t going to translate well to civilian shoppers.
In Guatemala they are limiting traffic by license plates. No word on what happens if you don’t own a car - maybe by city block? India goes by curfew, foreigners looking for food not exempted from caning. Papers please.
I guess I could see it in hotspots, for a week, but nation-wide, eh, not. And it kind of goes against the whole social distancing, stay out of lines and groups, thing.
It really socked it home that this is not about numbers, or graphs, or predictions, I’m right, or you’re right or any other stupid stuff like that.
This is about people that we love more than anything else on this earth.
“Again, CDC is ultimately to blame here. 2 months ago they could have been honest with the public and said, yes, you do need masks but we dont have enough supply, so heres what yall need to do.”
Not just that, if they were HONEST, then companies throughout the US would have mobilized to make their own masks and would probably be both certified and in full production mode by now.
But, then, that’s forward thinking, when they wanted us to think it’s ‘just the flu, Bro’.
A worker deserves...

now test for antibodies in the remainder
The company Im talking about still isnt even able to utilize the better masks they have because the recommendation is nothing as good as or better than the hcw have.
“When he called Rubio a full throated conservative, I laughed out loud.”
I could understand Rush liking Cruz, I could NEVER understand Rush having any liking for Rubio - to this day it simply makes no sense, especially considering how hard Trump had to fight Rubio over Amnesty - unless...
Yep, I remember that very well. Now, I forgive him and Levin too, but here lately I am not really appreciating being talked to about the economy for three hours. And in Levin’s case, I’m not interested in being yelled at for three hours about the economy.
This evening, I shut Levin off for asking “do we pray for people dying of heart disease?”
Yes, Mark, we do, and asking that question at this time was particularly annoying to me. Maybe it’s just me, my patience is short with that type of argument now.
“Unions ask Quebec cities not to resort to layoffs during COVID-19 shutdown”
Pretty ironic, I’d say.
