And the flubros don’t get that.

They seem to think that if we let it rip, everyone will just be fine with the body count and that it won’t affect the economy so their precious portfolios will be OK, too.

After all, it’s all about $$$$$ and not human lives.

Those human lives are just collateral damage to some heartless souls who have sold theirs to the devil for money.

50 watts HF at 7.078mhz.
USB? Then add 1.5khz.

I used to be able to get just about any major navcommsta from just about anywhere using HF.

Those winter nights near 3mhz and those summer afternoons over 24mhz.

I also found 27khz cranked up will get you just about anywhere you want to go:)

I understand the flubros don’t care who dies—but part of their stupidity is they don’t understand how the real world works.

Politicians who allow their hospitals to be overwhelmed and citizen’s corpses to be carted out by the truckload don’t last longer than dogs chasing cars.

yes, they do estimates for the flu to help reach a final total. Here’s the cdc disease burden of influenza page which has links to more of their methodology

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/how-cdc-estimates.htm

for the flubros, since 2010, yearly us flu deaths ranged from 12,000 to 61,000 / year estimated with average of about 37,500.

well they determined how they wanted to address this.....but they found out real quick people were doing what they wanted...even with the 6 ft. distance, and only gatherings less than 50 they did their own thing.

Human nature just doesn’t respond to anything or anyone telling them what they need to do, even if it risks life and limb. Plus there’s this attitude that things happen to everyone else not to them.

“804 the past 24 hours ending this evening”

That puts them at least to 1,000/day when home deaths are considered.

In a single city.

“That’s interesting. So, in theory, perhaps it’s not actually the coronavirus that results in the lack of taste, but the compromised immune system that caused candida or other infection?

Right, a supra-infections. And this in general is a mild one. It’s a surface infection, it’s not a system infection. The biofilm that perceived in my mouth is getting better but remains and is improving with therapy addressing the fungal infection.

Yeah, I know that, but it uses a radio that is twice the freq of my microwave oven, albeit at the milliwatt level, as does our cordless phone.

Who's to say what the actually effect is - I'm going to err on the side of caution - which is why I use the speaker, and also the speaker on my cell phone - as much as possible.

I don't think it's wise to hold something emitting that much EMR to your head for extended periods of time - and we wonder why the youth of today act so crazy.

Currently one of the hottest selling items are airbuds that go inside the ear, which also use wifi/bluetooth frequencies. Two of them in fact, communicating back and forth to each other - through the user's brain!

...and 24Ghz for broadband.

As for the 5G systems, and higher, the freq they use are hard to imagine; even upto 100Ghz!

i have a friend that lives in a typical suburban subdivision with little yards. She says groups of families will walk down the sidewalk singing, talking on the phone, laughing , coughing, sneezing, etc

She puts up barriers on the sidewalk when she works in the front yard to try to discourage them. It mostly works

Maybe she got timed out.

I know she and PAE were sparring on another thread.

I haven’t paid as much attention lately, I’m hospicing my 15yr old English Shepherd. It’s a sad time at my house notwithstanding all the other bad stuff going on in the world.

“So much for a seasonal virus”

I think the FluBros will have to graduate to cancer.

...but eventually, they’ll be comparing our death rate to that of the Soviet Union in WW2, and saying: “see, not so bad”.

Well, as much as I would love for it to be as simple as that, frankly it is not.

First, while you and I know that the CDC is full of crap, you do realize, I hope, that we are in the minority. VERY FEW people followed what was going on in China in relation to what would happen here. They trust our government, at least the government under Trump, non-deep-state businessman, to tell them the truth. Whether the President should have realized the CDC was dishonest, is a different debate...

So basically for the majority of business owners, the CDC was THE authority on this, not us, not the many epidemiologists sounding the alarm, not the armchair epidemiologists, but the CDC that they trusted because it is under Trump’s administration, like it or not.

Second. Even for those business owners who may have not necessarily trusted the CDC, there are enormous legal consequences to every decision. This is especially true with a non-healthcare entity making healthcare decisions for employees without CDC guidance. My husband even had to contact legal just to make sure it was ok to check temps.

We live in an incredibly litigious society. If you as a company or business owner tell a person to wear a mask, you have to tell them what kind. If you tell them what kind and you are wrong, you are sued into oblivion if someone gets sick. That’s the crap society we live in. There are people that salivate waiting for class action lawsuits like this against businesses.

So then the small business owner has to decide, do I strike out on my own and recommend something NOT recommended by the CDC, risk being shut down or sued, and in which case, 50-100 employees just lost their jobs including the business owner.

It all looks very easy here in black and white, it is NOT so easy navigating this in the real world. And our company is one of the most employee- centered companies in the US.

And by the way, we are not in some “marble mansion” making these choices. My husband lives in a tiny trailer in our driveway, making these choices about how to best protect his employees and still ensure they have jobs. He’s wearing the cloth masks and he is out there all day, every day, just like the people that work for him, except he has chosen to put himself in front of the customer more than they do. So this anti-business crap really doesn’t fly with me. I’d much prefer he quit his job and move back into our house.
