Governer Coumo should be arrested for banning HCQ and allowing so many to needlessly die, I submit that he does not have the authority to ban a legal drug. This is an outrage, where is the media? Doesn't anyone care about these people? There is a treatment that works for most people, maybe nearly all if used early. I am so disappointed in our country. Since when does American sit around and let this happen?
I’m curious: if the use of hospital beds is a fraction of what was projected, where are people dying? If at home, how do they know they tested positive? This whole thing stinks to high heaven
I think the original poster is referring to the idea that NY/Cuomo is not letting pharmacies/doctors let COVID patients use HQC early in the diagnosis...(when it appears most effective).

Nonsense. One thing Democrats do not do is under count Wu Flu deaths. They are inflating the numbers and will resist all auditing of them in the historical record.
No answering about Cuomo—I have no use for the man.
But, the number people might want to pay attention to is the “Serious/Critical” number reported on some sites. I know BNO has it.
Those numbers turn into deaths in about 5-10 days at a pretty high rate.
So, even though cases might be plateauing, the deaths will increase for a week or so after.
Not making any predictions or anything other than explaining how this has worked since Day 1.
So big bird de Blasio is telling us to stay home and not even go to parks, while he and his wife travelled all the way to Brooklyn from the Upper East Side to take a run in prospect park, in open defiance of rules he has himself endorsed.
Flu deaths in NY State should have reached a little more than 1,000 based on tests given, and ratios for the past few years.
So, yeah...this is higher than the flu.
Of course during flu season, if you tested positive for the flu—your death is counted as flu whether it was the primary cause or not. I am merely pointing out that the same “standards” are being used for flu (which is not reportable, except in children) and /COVID—which is reportable.
Its all a guessing game until you can track a full year against last year’s deaths.

You are correct. You have to be in a hospital setting before you can get the drugs. A doctor can’t prescribe it from just an office visit.

NYC has over 6000 confirmed Covid deaths, more than any city on earth outside of the epicenter, despite many larger and poorer cities being far closer to Wuhan.

Yep - my doctor is giving it to his COViD-19 patients after they test positive and are showing symptoms. It’s been working real well.
