President Trump on Saturday dismissed a critical tweet from Joe Biden, saying the former vice president couldn't have authored the post because "he doesn't write."
Biden tweeted Saturday just before Trump's White House coronavirus briefing began that Trump wasn't responsible for COVID-19, "but he is responsible for failing to prepare our nation to respond to it."
When asked about the tweet during the press briefing, Trump said a "Democratic operative" wrote it and implied Biden wasn't capable.
"He doesn't write. He's probably not even watching right now," Trump said of the televised daily briefing. "And if he is, he doesn't understand what he's watching."
The Twitter-prolific president added: “Biden didn’t write that, he wished he did, but he didn’t."
Earlier in the briefing, Trump had kinder words for Biden.

It takes a village to put a thought in Biden’s mouth.

I did watch some of Joe’s series of basement laundry room foreside chats. They are more like rolling blackouts than they are chats. You could almost see the lights flickering behind his eyes.

What’s really good about Trump’s line is that no one doubts that Trump writes his own tweets.
I LOVE these briefings. Informative and upbeat. And the Q/A afterwards is the icing on the cake, as Trump just reams the ‘reporters’ with their lame gotcha questions.
Trump doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him. That’s why he will be reelected, amid a firestorm of accusations of killing people and threats of Impeachment II.

This challenge has sharpened him even more than the unbelievable amount of cr@p he has had to face every day since he first announced his candidacy. Despite the Democrats best hopes and wishes this thing will tail off in the next month and they will be doing absolutely everything to hold on to it. It is their only hope to get rid of President Trump, but he is using it to knock them senseless every day.
