We now can see where they were going with global warming. If they ever succeeded at enacting their radical climate change preventative measures, then for as long as the world doesn’t “cook itself to death,” they would claim it was their measures that prevented it from happening. It’s an airtight con job whether it’s for global warming or COVID-19.

Suuuuuuure. Just like massive vaccination had nothing to do with the elimination of smallpox and the near elimination of polio and measles. Just like all the IT people working overtime in 1999 had nothing to do with the non-event of the Y2k bug.
Actions have consequences. In this case, the action is to stay away from other people, and the consequence is to avoid millions of deaths.
The complacency of people who live in a relatively infectious disease-free world and who understand nothing of the behind the scenes work that makes it that way is astounding.
