Just wondering - what people are watching (TV, movies, videos) during this crazy time.
Never posted a vanity before. Sorry if not done correctly.

My previous TV has a Roku stock (earlier gen) that works fine, but drags ass sometimes. I thought about getting the highest-end Roku for about $100, but instead I got a larger TV with newer Roku built in, and for a little over $200. :^)

Bond. James Bond.
Well, hubby has it on, in the main family room.
No one is even in there, right now, though..lol.

I haven’t been to a DC since the early 00s.
The notable one from that visit was Martin Landau. He drew a packed bigger room.
Crowds were insane then and no doubt exponentially worse now. Zero interest in going back.
The B5 people were the best as a rule.

I have spun up Ironside.
Yes, I know about Raymond Burr in real life but Perry Mason and Ironside were solid shows.

I got Mira Furlans autograph. It was for LOST rather than B5. Shes one of my favorites.

There are an assortment of autographs around here somewhere.
Peter Jurasik was one we ran into every time. We got married a month before a Con. Our first married visit the subject came up. He called us his September kids. A few visits to DC, he remembered us.
Claudia Christian is another one that was always pleasant to talk to.

We liked him too. On the lighter side, half hour sit coms, we are again liking Bob Newhart, Frazier, Cheers. The thing all of these shows have in common is good writers and good actors. Humor was more subtle and not overtly agenda driven. Which is why I think so many people have dropped Cable for streaming. Still good stuff on cable but not worth paying a hundred bucks or more for. At least not at this house.

Erin Gray is another favorite.
Friendly, talkative and normal.

It never gets old. At least to me.
Try the audio book for JMS’s biography. Read by Peter Jurasik.
Talk about a life.
I could roll my early dysfunctional life plus 10 others I knew and might match his upbringing.

Maybe run by a lady named Assumpta Fitzgerald?
Good old Ballykissangel.
A series I learned to like very much.

I decided to get the Durrels soundtrack finally.
One of the few times I’ve used Amazon’s streaming music.

If you like WWI movies, this one is about paratroopers from the day they go into training through their drop into D-Day and their actions until the end of the war.
Probably one of the best made movies/mini-series because it focuses on many aspects of their lives, the action, and their daily grind. A great thing about it was there was little melodrama or over-the-top nonsense, but it had great cinematography. It was just a good watchable show.

I found my boxed set of Mod Squad that has been buried with other stuff since moving a couple of years ago.

The longest conversation I had at Dragoncon was with John Billingsley. His wife was there with him (she played the General on Chuck) and at some point in the conversation he mentioned his friend Eric Lange (from LOST). I met Eric Lange in LA and mentioned his friend John Billingsley. He was astonished because he was on the way to Billingsleys birthday party.
Anyway, all 3 are very nice to their fans.
