Just wondering - what people are watching (TV, movies, videos) during this crazy time.
Never posted a vanity before. Sorry if not done correctly.
Fool’s Gold = is it a funny flick?
Used to love Hill Street Blues when it was originally aired.
Yep - reading is a great past time too....maybe we can do another thread - re: what are you reading?
Ooooo - the Little Rascals - what a wonderful old series!
I love watching our great President too! But he’s not on 24x7 so need a diversion.
Thru the Bible has an app? Will definitely check it out. Love J.Vernon.
It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World - 1963. Spencer Tracy, Edie Adams, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas, and Jonathan Winters.
The teaser is up at Amazon for the new 6th season of Bosch.....Meaning it will out in a few months. Bosch is the best series Amazon created. Their Hanna is OK and the movie it is based on was good.
Read the sequel to Paplillon. Called Banco.
Banco: The Further Adventures of Papillon by Henri Charrière.
Music, books, puttering in yard and around the house.
Our lifestyle has not changed even one little bit.
Good to know.....thanks.
“Doc Martin was a good little show”
Still is, Season 9 should be hitting PBS soon. (already shown on subscription channel Acorn) Season 10 is still up in the air if there will be one. Martin Clunes (Doc) only films the show every other year for more Family time and other projects). Love the show.
“Have you tried BOSCH ??????”
Another highly recommended show, I love the theme song. A bit dark at times.
Also for another LA based Detective show with an occasional touch of humor “The Closer and the spin off “Major Crimes”
New season of OZARK on Netflix.
Bosch is the best! I even read a few of the books. Too bad the libraries are closed.
In the evening, my husband and I watch Amazon movies. Many of the originals are surprising good.
During the day, as I work, I listen to podcasts and documentaries from YouTube.
Brute Force(1947) a prison break movie
Panic in the Streets(1950)-pneumonic plague is spread in New Orleans by an illegal alien
The Killer That Stalked New York(1950) - smallpox gets spread in NYC by smugglers
The Miami Story(1954)-bringing down organized crime
Kiss of Death (1947)- the original
All the King's Men (1949)- political corruption
Detective Story(1951)- couldn't use the words abortion or abortionist in films back then, but they get the message through to the viewer anyway. Oh and the abortionist is one of the bad guys.
I see ads for Pluto. How do you access it?
Love BBN, especially Ravi Zacharias. BBN is in our will.
