The lady won it.
She won't be able to go and she won't be able to sell it, so do you think Price is Right will just give her the cash value of the trip?

I’d have to be Shanghaied to go to Beijing. Since the spread of the virus, I’m Harbin a grudge towards the PRC. I’m not only worried about my family, I have to worry about Macao as well, maybe she’ll get infected.

A local car dealer sent out a slick cardboard flyer in the mail yesterday touting a free trip to the Final Four. It’s called an unexpected shelf-life issue. Or, as the Epistle of James cautions, “we know not what cometh on the morrow”.

I know somebody that was on it. I don’t remember exactly how long it was, but it was a long time.

BuzzFeed spoke with executive producer Mike Richards about how he puts the show on the air every day. (For one thing, they shoot the show twice a day, Monday through Wednesday, three weeks out of every month, and they spend the rest of their time preparing each episode.)

My local Burger King sent a flyer with raised coupon prices just as the Wu Flu was breaking. They jacked up all combo prices 50 cents - $1. Real bad time to raise prices, obviously.

I recall reading when announcer Johnny Olson passed away in early October 1985 (around the same time Orson Welles and Yul Brynner did) that he had taped TPIR shows up until about October 2 or 3rd. These shows went on until about late November (with Bob Barker doing a tribute that was tagged at the end). And then you got the ones where they began auditioning replacements like Gene Wood (of Family Feud) and ultimately they settled on Rod Roddy (also RIP).
So I’d say that they are done about four to six weeks in advance of air date.

Drew: "A fabulous trip to Beijing, Karen! And it's yours if you are the closest bidder without going over! What's your bid?"
Karen: "Uh, $20?"
Drew: "Oh, sorry. You went over. Beijing trips are surprisingly affordable these days."
