The group of actors, singers and entertainers known as 'the Rat Pack' became synonymous with Hollywood glamour, late night jam sessions at the fabled Sands Hotel in Las Vegas, and the heady golden days of Camelot.

I have a print of that first picture hanging in my mancave bar. Men were men in those days.

Back to my question. He was on the marquee at the Dunes. With what talent? What did he do onstage?

I find myself watching the oldies stations more and more these days.

Can’t stand anything that passes for “entertainment” now. It’s just sh*t.

One thing I enjoy is the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts which are all on YouTube. I remember them back in the early 70s, when I was a kid.

Also enjoy seeing Carson on “Tonight Show” episodes out on YouTube as well.

Brings back nice memories.

“... wish we could return to the days of class...”

Sadly, I don’t see it happening, brother.

Pop culture became trash culture.

I’m the same way. I found myself becoming very nostalgic for the “old days” during the Obama reign of terror and what he did to the country. Immersed in all the old shows, sitcoms etc. Current stuff is dreck.
