Thread #25 here:

The problem is, even if the old people remain sequestered, there could still be enough severe cases at one time to slam the hospitals, which already have various severe cases of everything else. So, if we do this, it would be quite necessary to try to keep teleworking when possible, avoiding other people for the most part (sorry, extroverts), not congregating in large groups, maybe only allow businesses to have half the occupancy that the fire codes permit, and legally punish people who don’t follow quarantine if they’re suspected of exposure to WuFlu.
The ideal, to me, would be a slow burn, rather than all at once.
I hadn’t thought of that. Something from my past life.
That’s what they were using to wipe down our voting machines...on what seems like EONS ago.
I was thankful they were doing that.
(I had a stylus pen and my own lysol wipe, tho.)
Hopefully, they will join your frivolous ass in celebrating. I know I will.
Please consider the WWII years. I know my dad flew B-17s over Germany, my mom went thru rations of everything. My uncle Alpine skied in Iceland to sink U- Boats with bazookas when they came up to resupply.
Everyone knew people who died in The War.
Back to the future.
Yeah, very fair point.
IDK.
What I see is docs thinking the awful testing is the cause for the “re-exposure” reports.
Haven’t seen solid data.
:)
You’re idolizing the idiot that cries fake crocodile tears over grandma’s getting sick yet has NO issue, whatsoever, killing full term babies???
That man is sick.
He speaks with a forked tongue.
He’s the most unprepared Gov out there. His state only has 3,000 ICU beds. He should’ve known that (as they try to say about POTUS and the mask and respirator situation) and better PREPARED!
He’s a phoney, but go ahead and hitch your wagon to that jack-wagon.
Yep. New normal: massive teleworking, highways wide open 24 hours a day, gas station owners deeply saddened.
Korea now requires two tests because their tests give so many false negatives.
And I’m sure they’re much better than the testing China did.

US officials, indeed all officials in the Western World, are not using the “mutation” word yet.
However, POTUS yesterday did refer to “variations in the virus”.
It’s a mutation Jim.
Tucker made some great CV points, on his show, tonight.
One that really stood out....
We’re not getting any good, actual data (like detailed info about cases) to be able to determine where this thing is going, and for how long.
Like it’s a moving target that you can know too much info about.
Same with the immunity question. And, the surface longevity...and the shedding/infection capability timeframe.
I’ll raise you a police island: Kauai
LIHUE, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauai Mayor Derek Kawakami announced more measures Saturday aimed at stopping the spread of coronavirus on the island...
...a day-use permit for any beach park on the island. Every non-resident, regardless of their age, will need an individual permit.
The permits cost $5, but if they are looking to park at a beachs parking lot, visitors will also need to obtain a parking permit...
...all hotel and lodging accommodations to have their guests stay within the boundaries of their property while visiting the island.
Kawakami added any violators of the new rules could face a misdemeanor charge and a fine of up to $5,000.
Thank you for your info - always - I appreciate your research very much.
Gas stations make their money from food/beverage. Not gas sales
And, that’s another thing....the testing can’t even be trusted.
CrayZee.
Its real real now. Waffle Houses do not close. Just ask anybody in Hurricane prone areas.— GhostyGirlonLockdown (@ghostylee140) March 24, 2020
“I wish we had a clear answer, on that.”
You will be immune to the same strain - if you weren’t you’d never get over it. It would kill you.
The other strain, we don’t know, yet, but there is evidence that they do not cross-immunize.
