“The CA curve is the best of all of them.
Why?”
I don’t know, graph is based on deaths 10 days after first recorded death, so I supposed you could get a different looking line if you started with 8 days or 12 days instead.
Looks like by the graphs. We are all in this.
“Wonder if the Indians are obedient like the HKers or Taiwanese.”
No.
They have a long history of burning entire villages and killing everyone in them over a rape or murder. They get real frenzied up and anything could happen there.

Beaumont Health is caring for 635 patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 who are putting pressure on the eight-hospital system as it nears capacity for staffing, protective equipment and ventilators, the Royal Oak-based health system said Tuesday.
The health system is sometimes transferring patients between hospitals to find space and is beginning to convert some operating rooms into intensive care units, Beaumont Health Chief Operating Officer Carolyn Wilson said in a statement.
“And how are people going to support their families and eat?”
If you are dead you don’t need to eat and can’t go to work.
If you are sick for two months and permanently disabled after that, you still can’t go to work.
Trump is doing - and saying - the right things. Even if they are different.
If all the seniors die off there will be whole sectors of the economy affected. Harshly.
Stop-start is the best plan we have while we mobilize.
Containment is the ONLY weapon we have that’s deployable right now. But given American ingenuity, I think we can start getting into high gear in weeks rather than several months or a couple years. Look to see large scale availability of HCQ as we rekindle the economy.
That’s what I’d do first if I were Trump, but I think he’s probably way ahead of me, so I’m good with his plan.
Two people in my house are not working right now. We’re in the same boat as everybody else. But we’re not going to throw Granny under the bus to support our Pizza and Netflix habits or what ever. We prepped when the FluBros were scoffing, so we won’t even have to go hungry. For a while. Much longer than I expect this thing to last.
Or hung out in a wet market.
Yep. Let’s leave it to the millenials. They got this.
2 years if Trump wins. Maybe never, otherwise.
“Since people in their 70s and up are going to die soon, and some of them are actually looking forward to it...”
Yeah, the useless eaters oughta know their place!
Right Dr. Mengela?
I cannot, for the life of me believe that your comment would ever be posted on this great site.
I want to know why the United States cannot be producing 70 million N95 medical masks a week, starting now.
That’s what Taiwan produces. Taiwan delivers every citizen a new N95 mask every day.
My biggest problem is equipping nurses and doctors with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 3M says they can make a million by May 1.
What are the hangups? I really don’t know.

If I was to buy a mask, it would be about the only thing I could afford from Hickey Freeman. LOL.
“This is the week we should start seeing people die in large numbers.”
I really pray we are wrong.
I thing the large number is in about week or 2, not this week. We will see the start this week with overrun next week.
De wall of txt. Hard to digest in quick form.
No, the death rate is lower in Germany because they attribute it to the underlying problems the individual might have as a matter of course. I made reference to Germany “lying” about it earlier. Maybe you might have lived with diabetes for another decade, but if you die of CCP-19 in Germany, diabetes it is.
Yeah those useless eater old people right?
Did you even THINK how monstrously arrogant your comment reads before you clicked post?
