Refrigerated trailers break down. Send the bodies to the crematory and be done with it. No need to keep them around ready to contaminate everything.

Shush . . . . too soon
The Nevada state attorney general had to bring law enforcement directives into play to stop Las Vegas from keeping the casinos open in violation of the governor’s closure. He had a little talk with the city attorney and . . .
They’re closed now.
People have forgotten just how much power the state/county health directors really have.
They’ve just never had to use it for the past 100 years or so...
And these shutdowns will be adjudicated for years...
I haven’t even looked at a canned good and probably won’t for another week. Was that the only thing she bought?
Detroit probably needs bullet proof partitions.
The only surprise with Amazon is that it didn’t happen sooner. Way too many employees in one area.
Lift the stay home and wait a week. There will be more infections. Rinse and repeat with short lock downs aren’t going to fix it.
That's not your call. If the family have religious practice that say no cremation - what then?
How does COVID-19 survive in a dead body?
Ping.
Actually that’s the state health official’s call.
They’ve found infectious flu virus in bodies that were buried in permafrost in the late 1910’s.
So that depends on how much risk your local mortician really wants to take. For himself, his employees and any post mortem cleaning that needs to be done.
No embalming is probable for this one. Too risky for everyone concerned.
Some countries in Africa literally cover the bodies in quick lime. No ‘funeral’ to speak of. So yes, you might get buried and not cremated. But there won’t be the funeral service you were thinking of or the ‘visitation’.
1. China (until inspection allowed)
2. Italy
3. Spain
4. France
5. United States
(Critical/serious, Iran unknown)
Amazon’s CV will infect every mail service out there. I tried and tried to explain to hubby our mail is the weak link to us being safe at home. Every night, when I’m asleep, he slips out to bring in the mail. Will you be on my jury?
i’ve been getting weekly deliveries of fresh food from whole foods... no shortage of fresh. I put it in my garage for 3 days. its still cold enough for me to store veggies etc there
I’m hoping thats enough
“We are so spoiled in this country that many people resent the imposition of anything on their selfish lives. Sometimes thinking of others involves a little personal sacrifice. A short time of inconvenience can mean life or death for someone.”
Very well stated.
Hearing that lt governor offering to sacrifice the lives of old people so the young can continue to be pampered by materialism reminds me of Mao or Stalin. Psychopathy.
This testing debacle is a national nightmare.
