Immunity would only last as long as the coronavirus does not mutate.

Some here will never believe that.

“so many people already on line they can’t take her today.”

When they first opened them they were crowded but I expect a lot of those people in line were whack jobs. I think the majority of these people are really sick with it.

How many of these people are panicking because they’ve got seasonal allergies?

New coronavirus detected in sewage

Publication date 03/25/2020 | 12:00

The new coronavirus (SARS severe acute respiratory syndrome -CoV coronavirus -2) has been found in Dutch sewage. This is evident from research by the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. Some patients with COVID-19 have the new coronavirus in their stools. That feces ends up in the sewer via the toilets. The research shows that monitoring of sewage water is a good method for diagnosing viral infections in infected people. Wastewater workers are protected against the virus if they adhere to hygiene regulations.

We speculated as much back in January when CDC was letting the tested positives stay in their own homes.

They really need to read that Amoy Gardens research.

Let’s hope not!

NJ isn’t as crowded as NYC.

But if anyone went through the train station in Hoboken...

Supply chains getting hit is a huge concern. How fast can we train truck drivers and warehouse workers? What if it ravages farm workers? Meat processing plants? etc etc.

It is still a little early here in the Northeast for seasonal allergies.

I am sure there are some hypochondriacs in the group, and the numbers of positives in NJ are freaking out folks there.

Lemme ask this.

Is one of the reasons ‘off label’ is disparaged a matter of tort? Ie, malpractice doesn’t cover that?

One of my biggest concerns, from the beginning, (other than antibiotics/medicines) has been spare parts for farm equipment and any chemicals ‘we’ need to conduct a growing season in CONUS.

It was dodgy for much of the midwest last year due to all the rain, those farmers REALLY need a good year this year and not idle equipment because some widget is broken and can’t be replaced.

A guy I work with is in the Green Bay area of Wisconsin. He is sick, has all the symptoms, and is waiting on his test results. They originally told him results will take 3 to 4 days, now they are saying a week because the labs that process the tests are backed up.

LOL...the family that I know, who fled NY for FL, is FROM Long Island.

I think they didn’t want to be trapped, out there, should hospitals become overwhelmed and groceries become scarce.

I stopped buying lettuce weeks ago. No produce that can’t be well washed, peeled or cooked.

I doubt that. Everyone does it all the time.

Off label use still has to be consistent with good medical practice. I would be guilty of malpractice for prescribing cancer chemotherapy off label for pneumonia, for example.

I thought we read that NYs cluster was from a person from Iran.

WA was from a Chinese traveler.

And, I thought they said SoCal was from Europe?? Some state’s area had a Europe traveler....I can’t recall which area they said, on that one.
