I agree, something CLEARLY caused them to change their tune. But why the hell is that so hard for people here to understand? I’m sorry about their stocks, if they were on this site, they would have known this was coming - it was PERFECTLY OBVIOUS once China stopped supplying us with everything we rely on.
They will, literally, NEVER see that money again - this is a NEW WORLD, and it will not look anything like the old, not at all...at this point they are going to be stuck with whatever crumbs remain when they finally face reality, and all of us will be set back back 50 years from our recent reality, possibly 100 years, if the Dems get their ways with beefing up unions.

Iron lung kids had fine lungs, the polio hosed the neural connections and paralyzed the diaphragm.
It caused damage to their breathing process. Some of the damage was permanent. That what my mom told me when I saw the scars from when her lungs collapsed due to polio.
Good for them...but hopefully the next generation is being housed elsewhere. Queen, Charles, William, and George need to be separated...or perhaps Louis since he is younger .

So if the “Boris strategy” was followed and was successful (over 70 only under “stay home” orders), the positive cases would have been reduced by 30%.
My guess is that hospitalizations would have been reduced by 50% or so.
That would buy the hospitals one week or so.

I’m with you! I’m having the time of my life, with my wife and (grown) kids home for the long term. We’re brimming with food, fuel, and other items. I don’t know how long we’ll have to deal with this crap, but I know that 99% of the people around me (the FluBros) will buckle long before us.

Serology, which ELISA3 tests for SARS-Cov-2 specific antibodies, allows the detection of protected individuals who have been infected by the virus and have recovered. In contrast, RT-PCR4 tests, which are based on an RNA diagnostic, detect the presence of the viral genetic material and are only valid just before and during the infection.
If easy-to-use COVID-19 antibody assays applicable via finger prick samples (e.g. Biomerica Inc.) are rapidly proven to be reliable and certified, they might be used in conjunction with FDA-approved point-of-care viral RNA testing (Xpert® Xpress SARS-CoV-2, Cepheid Inc.) to implement the suggested two-step screening on a large scale.
Maybe they are running out of people who will die from it as they already have?
