Woman who recovered from coronavirus says hysteria 'out of control': I don't get why the toilet paper is gone
Fox News ^ | March 13, 2020 | Joshua Nelson

Former coronavirus patient Jerri Jorgensen said Friday that the hysteria surrounding the coronavirus has “gotten out of control,” recalling when she was barred from a gym after undergoing quarantine.

“All the toilet paper being gone -- I don’t get the toilet paper,” Jorgensen told “Fox & Friends.”

Jorgensen said that afterward when she got home, the gym’s management called her to tell her to stay away to keep the “senior citizens” safe.

“I go, ‘I am a senior citizen! Wait, what about me?'” Jorgensen said. “And I am the safest one in the gym, probably the safest one in Utah because I’ve been through quarantine and tested more than once negative.”

“And I have a letter from the Centers for Disease Control so it is what it is,” she added.

Are they infection free?

I got food delivered for my dogs, but I have no idea who packed it.

There’s no toilet paper because people aren’t stupid. The government tells people to stay home and avoid crowds. The history of the virus shows that quarantine is a very real threat. Given the choice do we buy lots of toilet paper or do we run to the store every other day to get toilet paper?

This is cool. We have an article where a woman says, “It’s nothing.” And a 31 year old guy who says it damn near killed him. Back to back.

Yep. I like to sum it up this way: YMMV

I figure we are all going to be exposed. The lockdown right now is solely to prevent everyone that is going to be symptomatic from getting it at the same time, overwhelming our medical system. Like death itself, it needs to progress at a manageable rate through the population.

“Here is why the toilet paper is gone- I’ve got a theory.”

All the big city democrat pica perverts gone wild with the stress.

I wonder about that, too. Many talk in terms of general widespread elimination of it, but no one claims it is different than a cold, which doesn’t leave the poor sufferer with much immunity at all.

Like everything about this, both the laymen and the experts are pretty much in the dark, it seems.

They must have some very strange and unclean activities they enjoy, I’m thinking.

Chris Plante always says, “They love their colons”.

“People aren’t stupid . . . “

Followed a bit later by . . . “do we run to the store every other day to get toilet paper?”

The irony speaks for itself.

It's tagline is, "Do ya feel lucky, punk, well do ya?"

Our youngest daughter is 36. My impression is that her generation seems to be largely made up of Facebook attention hounds. Everything that happens to her is either the worst thing or the best thing that ever happened to anyone, everything that happens to her is unprecidented... No one else has ever experienced what she has.

The story about the 31 year old guy is pretty pathetic in comparison, but there are few people tougher than active old ladies.

There are alternatives to toilet paper. May not be preferred....however, people survived prior to toilet paper.

Stocking up food, that's a different story.

When I was little right around 1960 for about five years we really did keep the old sears and monkey wards catalogues in the johnnyhouse. It was not for reading because nobody wanted to stay a moment longer than necessary with that open pit a couple of yards under your sitter. Those thin mailorder papers in the middle were the best.

Of course when we were in the woods we used big elm, sycamore or water oak leaves.

It was hyperbole....the point is why take the chance of going to the store more often than necessary considering the current climate? It's SMART to buy more so you have to take less trips to the store.

Went to the local Target this morning to score some TP. Really need it. Got 1 package of 27, that’s all they carried. It should last 2 months. All the meats, cheeses, dairy, and frozen were stripped bare.
