I grew up with a very Victorian Catholic Grandmother, she raised me because my mother was into lushly and didn't know what planet she was on, my grandmother also raised my older sister...so:
Because I went to Catholic School until the farm was sold and then went into public school, I had a very firm belief of my religion, I am the old traditional religion, I don't believe in birth control, if your a woman that is what you are, and you take your wedding vows very seriously...however, now days that is very hard to do because a lot of people don't believe in God anymore...I am only doing this so you know where I come from, a lot of people do not know my thoughts, but in order for Our Lord to come back, we need to put Him in our lives, our homes, our hearts and our government, which the ‘pizzagate, pedophiles’ do not believe in...
Being a mother is an important roll, father is also, but Mother takes after Mother Mary, she saw her son die, I have had two children die, from knowing that Mother Mary is there for me and know what I am going through has made this somewhat easier if I didn't know Her...I will never get over the hurt, the pain and loss, but I do know I will be with them when I die just as Mother Mary is with her Son...
The ‘Passion of the Christ’ is telling you what God planned with his Son, and what Mother Mary endured during what happened to her Son, something all of us Mothers do when Our Children go before we do...it is meant to hurt you, it is meant to let you know that losing a loved one isn't easy and it is meant that to ease the pain of that loss is through God and his Son and Mother Mary...
Some of you will not understand any of this, but some will because they have gone through this, it's hard to live in hell and that is where we are, we live in hell, we are not going there, we are there, we have our choices and decisions to make and how you make them depend on the peace you have in your soul...
I think the reason I get so upset at idiots downing Our President is because they don't have a soul, only their own feelings and greed and money...well your not taking that with you, you are taking your soul with you and that is all your taking so make the best of it in the choices you make here, you won't get another chance...
Didn't mean to give a Sunday Sermon but that's life and how I live my life, I love people, if my neighbor is suffering so am I, and I always ask myself before I do something: “Is this what Jesus would do?”...

I hear you, FRiend. I am in Maryland, but you and I come from the same place and from the same generation.
It was a bit odd, but I was comforted by my virtual Mass today. Participated through a video at the website of my diocese.
One review recalled a bunch of *blacks* going to see it. When the scene came when the crucifix is dropped into the hole, and the jolt wrenches the nails in the holes in Christ's wrists, one of the audience-goers blurted out, "Sh!t, that's TOO MUCH!"
I am grateful that the movie brought to people's awareness, much of the suffering of Our Lord which has been ignored or crusted over by convention and repetition over the years.
