The incident with TS was the first time I realized how evil our govt. was. If I recall correctly, they had police in her room to ensure that nobody would try to save her. Disgusting.
Maybe you’re thinking of Lewis Carroll? He is rumored or thought to have used opium, just did a search, and there is evidence there. I did sevearl searches actually and could find nothing connecting C.S. Lewis to opium. It also does not seem consistent with his life, beliefs or writings.
