Agree. I’ve been looking but have hesitated several times in pulling the trigger.

Part of its the uncertainty of what I’m looking for and the other is the overall uncertainty of the market. I keep wondering how much further it can go.

The Spanish Flu was a precursor to Parkinson's and frozen syndrome. Loss of smell is often a first indicator of Parkinson's.

My first thought is neurological damage, like what happens with diabetics and their extremities.

My second is straight up brain damage.

The US Embassy in Ethiopia has warned that foreigners are being attacked in cities across the country after being accused of being infected with COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by coronavirus.

In a security alert posted on its website, the embassy said it “continues to receive reports regarding a rise in anti-foreigner sentiment” since the first case of the virus was detected in Africa’s second-most populous state last week.

Lucky for me, I'm too poor for all that stuff. My most recent investment was buying a builder's transit level made in the 60s that was the last of the well made and really cool looking surveyor's instruments and is still considered a very functional transit. It will never lose value.

I've got a Delta/Rockwell table saw from the 40s that weighs 300 lbs and is smoother and quieter than anything you can buy at a home improvement store today.

Our grocery stores (HEB, Walmart and Randalls) are BEGGING for hires.

I’m on their regular email list...for grocery ads, etc. that now have We’re Hiring emails, daily.

My question...regarding some of these grocery stores opening early, for seniors...

Aren’t younger people still the ones who are: doing most of the stocking (germs), checking out/cashiering (germs) and, if necessary, taking items out to their cars (germs)?

Just curious if anyone else has thought about this.

I hope the seniors - and, everyone - are wiping down their items, before putting them away.

Oakland County coronavirus cases skyrocket to 94

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - The Oakland County’s health department says they have confirmed 94 cases now of the coronavirus Covid-19, the county’s Media and Communications Officer Bill Mullen said Thursday.

The number is staggeringly higher than the most recently reported case total from the state, showing only 23 cases of Covid-19 in Oakland County. Mullen said their count of 94 is accurate as of 9 a.m. Thursday.

Michigan health officials said the state’s total coronavirus case eclipsed 100 during a press conference Wednesday with Gov. Whitmer. While the state health department quantified 15 new cases by midnight Tuesday, Chief Medical Director Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said they had confirmed 30 more cases, bringing the state total up to 110. But now it appears the number is even higher than that.

I was impressed by Missourians panic shopping. Snack aisle was fully stocked. Plenty of soda. Granola bars too due to price I imagine. All the staples and canned goods were what was wiped out.

HCP use of homemade masks:
In settings where facemasks are not available, HCP might use homemade masks (e.g., bandana, scarf) for care of patients with COVID-19 as a last resort. However, homemade masks are not considered PPE, since their capability to protect HCP is unknown. Caution should be exercised when considering this option. Homemade masks should ideally be used in combination with a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to the chin or below) and sides of the face.
