Per KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-St Paul, the number of confirmed tests for CV have risen from 60 to 77. So far, 2762 people have been tested so far in Minnesota.
The article makes no mention of any demographic factors (age, ethnicity, etc)or how the disease was contracted (ex: foreign travel vs. community spread)
A map of Minnesota issued by the Department of Health shows the majority of cases are in the Twin Cities metro area but that a few cases have started spreading into rural Minnesota.

Posting this article again as I think it may be the underlying reason for the drastic economic actions being taken:

If true, it may have been a bioweapon. Eliminate the over 50’s with illness/lack of ICU availability and sterilize the youngsters. Complete population replacement possible w/o a shot fired within 2 generations.

Read the study - its a combination of heat and humidity that affected it in China. Were not at the right levels even in Florida yet, but the study does show that with every increase in heat and humidity, there is a significant corresponding decrease in transmission rate (r naught factor). Hopefully we see this play out here.

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Wow!
I’m jealous, I’m down to zero pills!
