FOX’s chryon states: The WHO COVID19 tests are unreliable.

So what, all those test results for the whole world are now unreliable data?

I thought it was interesting so I brought it here since these threads will account for what we the nation was facing. Although his case was less than those hospitalized I’m sure but it tells the progression at least in his case.

” Your post was a gross oversimplification of scientific data. “

On a covid thread?
I’m shocked! Shocked!

In the last two days I have seen IS studies showing longevity of the virus in aerosol form for up to 3 hours. This implies particle size of <3 microns from what I can find. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Another poster in this series of threads have a great analogy of aerosols that I like to use for visualization:

In your home, someone peels an orange in another room. If you can smell it, and that was the virus instead of an orange, you just got infected.

Accepting data for aerosolization might explain a great deal of the newfound urgency.

I believe that we learned of this error (diagnosis 40% wrong) weeks ago. FOX is late in reporting.

The WHO tests are likely being used in foreign nations, but not the US of A.

None the less, it’s an unmitigated disaster.

Controlling it, at this point.

But it beckons...

Yes, this goes along with what I’ve been saying all night.

It also explains President Trump’s plea that we all just stay home for 15 days!

“Accepting data for aerosolization might explain a great deal of the newfound urgency.”

Accepted.

But not announced.

Apparently some of them are- up to 40%.

So, were positive infections diagnosed as negative?

And were some negative diagnosis wrong and really positive?

Good grief!

No mention how many percentage wise (negative vs positive) were wrong, and how do they know specifically which ones were incorrect?

To me also. I’ve given in.

I braved the virus to go get a bottle. And now I am partaking as if it is the end of world. Lol!

Is there a link about these inaccurate WHO tests?

For $50 or less you'd be better with the radiator oil filled heaters. I've tried them all and these are by far the best to use. You set them once and it's best to not turn them down overnight. The heat stays consistent and the room warmer then any of the other I've used and the most cost effective..

I fear that the administration doesn’t yet understand the full extent of this virus.

I’ve been on these threads since January and watched the videos out of China before they were cut off.

They weren’t only spraying the streets, they were spraying people inside offices.

In Wuhan, it was obvious that the virus particles coated everything, and that was what necessitated all of the spraying. The virus particles were everywhere, inside and out.

I’m hoping that the warmer weather here, at least here in the southern US, will keep up from being Wuhan 2.

But I don’t think anyone in the administration - or anywhere else in government - has any idea just how bad this could be.

I agree. Hardly use our furnace at all, except for a half hour or so on below-freezing mornings. Sometimes five at one time scattered around the house (on the single element setting).

If using both elements with more than one heater on a circuit they blow circuit breakers, in my house, anyway.

This afternoon I went to a one off discount store to avoid the crowds, in the hopes of finding some corned beef.

First impression: an air of anxiety hung over the property so I asked the guy gathering up the shopping carts if the store got slammed today. He said for the last five days it had been over run with shoppers.

I was more curious than in need of things so I went about my shopping with a curious but carefree attitude.

There was no toilet paper, so I settled for a 12 roll cardboard box of commercial paper towels. These are the white heavy grade paper towels that are in workshops or restrooms. A roll was 3.99 each. I hoped that the whole box was 3.99, but that was naïve thinking. The box ran about $48, and will become a part of my estate. I will likely have enough toilet paper to last the rest of my life. There were literally over one hundred boxes in the stack, so I did not feel that I was committing an act of hoarding. Most people were quietly purchasing multiple boxes of tissues, as a toilet paper substitute.

It was a very limited inventory, just by the nature of the store, but I managed to cobble together enough useful items to justify the visit. The highlight was discovering that the store had an unexpectedly large variety of dog and cat food.

There were zero meats to choose from, so no chance to secure corned beef.

To the clerk’s credit, I was asked if I was a veteran and received a 10% discount.

I had a Knorr alfredo pasta (.99) with a small salmon packet (.75) for dinner. I almost got full, ahead of my dinner by snacking on a packet (.50) of peanut butter filled mini pretzels. My pre apocalypse meal set me back a cool $2.24.

Remarkably, some of us may find ourselves ordered to quarantine in place. Do not want! Do not like!

I am fading fast, so I bid the remaining stalwart posters here, a good night. Well done freepers.

Be sure to take care of your immune system.

The WHO tests are likely being used in foreign nations, but not the US of A.

The original CDC test had some problems with producing "inconclusive" results, and they took a lot of heat for not using the WHO tests. They stood their ground and made their own. I wonder if they didn't trust the WHO test from the beginning? I also guess that means we'll say "no thanks" to Jack Ma's donated tests.

The White House was quoted in the chryon script so perhaps the official WH website might have more information. The CDC or NIH, may have something to say about these tests.

I wonder at how well you fit the example of a Chinese troll.
I just wonder.
