Just returned from Kroger with my wife. We were able to buy most everything we needed. But there is ZERO TP, ZERO hand sanitizer and soap. And the only eggs remaining are the $6 a dozen “organically raised” kind. My wife said she’d rather go hungry than pay $6 for a dozen eggs.
I was on the fence. I like eggs. But, I have no idea what they’re supposed to cost?
.79 to $1.50
depending on store and sales price
NY and LA your mileage may vary
Try a corner gas station/convenience store for eggs.
Yep organic pasture raised eggs at grocery are about 6-7 bucks. We sell ours for 3-4 bucks a dozen from our flock of 20 birds and ducks. Kids were selling for side money, I think they are about to experience a boom in sales in the neighborhood!
Do you live in or near the country?
There are often roadside stands that sell eggs.
$1.89 for Walmart 18 count large eggs.
Your wife was right about the $6/doz being ridiculous.
