Shameful government sponsored theft and interference with free enterprise by a swamp dwelling RINO Attorney General.
Hand Sanitizer Forcibly Confiscated From Tennessee Brothers
aka gouging like scalping they need to be buster they are preventing health issues.
There would be no hoarding if it weren’t for idiotic anti-price gouging laws.
What about all of the people buying far more than they need everywhere? What will happen to them?
Lawsuit and yer still rick heads...
“Shameful government sponsored theft and interference”
What theft? It was a donation.
Probably wind up like my buddy in Michigan who thought Bestline was gonna be another Amway. A garage full of product he had to dump for pennies on the dollar.
“Hand Sanitizer Forcibly Confiscated From Tennessee Brothers”
Nope.
Did they offer “fair market value” for the sanitizer? This is basically stealing from them.
They are assholes, but they need to be compensated, not robbed.
Still dont know why they put their story in the paper.
You posted without even reading the headline.
Nice.
Good
I was so ashamed ...
Chattanooga is in the next county over from mine...
“Did they offer fair market value for the sanitizer? This is basically stealing from them.”
Don’t fall for every click-bait headline ...
Depends on what they’ve bought over the last ten years. Would any police department be willing to lose half their force over a pallet of toilet paper?
I see what you said there.
I’ve posted this multiple times on hoarding threads..
There is NO such thing as price gouging. Its simple: you dont like the price buy somewhere else. They may be aholes for hoarding this stuff but this is a free market economy. And another thing to those bitching about hoarding...why dont those idiots bitching about these people go to store rise up early get in line in the first place??? You simply got beat or were too lazy to go to the store before everyone else..
Lets pretend there was no coronavirus and this was not hand sanitizer. Lets just assume that he was, in normal times, illegally selling any routine product on the black market.
Should he be charged? Arrested and his product confiscated? Of course. No question.
So now that the situation is so much worse. Far worse; why is anyone upset that authorities took the logical and prudent action that they did?
Go after Senator Manchin’s sister
Lawmakers pressure EpiPen maker to explain price hikes
The Democratic West Virginia senators daughter, Heather Bresch, is CEO of Mylan, which manufactures EpiPens.
A two-dose package cost around $94 nine years ago. The cost averaged more than six times that in May.
Manchin spokesman Jonathan Kott said Wednesday the senator had no comment.
Several senators are demanding more information and requesting congressional hearings and investigations.
Sens. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut want the Federal Trade Commission to investigate Mylan for possible antitrust violations.
Hillary Clinton, whom Manchin has endorsed for president, called the increase outrageous.
A Mylan statement Monday cited health insurance changes with higher deductible costs for many.
