Thread #16 is below and it ran for two days...

For the sake of truth, let’s take a look. Your statement to me in your post #208 was:
“But you deny that anything you dont want to accept is real.”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3824800/posts?page=208#208
Your premise is that I deny that which I don’t want to accept. But you don’t know what I want or don’t want to accept. Maybe I wanted to accept whatever point I refuted, but didn’t accept it because it wasn’t logical.
Well, I actually have the expertise and authority to make educated opinions, I am glad we agree that you are not licensed. Oh, and you are giving advice. Add practicing medicine without a license to your list of sins.
Yea, and we got the TROLL back here. Kind of like a virus, ehh.
Yes, I would NEVER say that people who had tested positive for this deadly virus just have cold
You got that right
If Wa state is the example for the rest of the country, those figures are very encouraging. I hope they hold up.
“What about a 66 year old homeless person?”
If the Dems were COMPASSIONATE, they’d put them in the institutions where they belong, rather than leaving them to fend for themselves on the streets.
And yet you are comfortable recommending treatment protocols both on the individual and macro level. Clever deflection.
Oh and btw, apparently CDC is in urgent need of your mocking expertise because they believe that you should stay out of crowds of more than 50 for two months
So get them on speed dial and tell them you know better.
Tsk tsk....we all tell people what we are going to do...and again ...I DO NOT HOLD MYSELF OUT AS A LICENSED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
YOU DO and you CLEARLY stated Rudy Gobert just had a cold.
Now get to steppin and calling the CDC because they need your expertise
“CDC just suggested to stop ALL gatherings of 50 people + for EIGHT weeks!!”
Kind of late to the party...but at least a start.
By the way, does that include airplane and train travel?
(buses are just under 50 people)
You would be shocked to know some information....that makes your abuse all the more funny.
“late to the party...”
IDK.
Gov orgs aren’t there to lead the bright, they’re there to lead the not-bright.
Nah, keep giving medical advice and using your GRAVITAS to mislead people about the severity of this disease.
Meanwhile, this woman who is going to recover didnt just have a cold

“Acknowledged, will adopt your policy immediately...Things are too busy for trolls.”
Yea it’s really helpful, you can fly through the garbage talk and find the needed facts.
(by simply ignoring any posts by the troll, or even any posts to the troll)
We’re not talking mortality rate for several reasons. First, not enough cases have resolved for it to mean anything. Second, no mention of the size of the population in question was made.
The number of tests has to be more than the confirmed cases and less than the total population by definition. They are not randomly testing, either so you can’t even use it to calculate the probable number of infected statistically. The number of tests, unless it approaches either the total population in question or the number of confirmed cases under these circumstances is not really relevant to determining the death rate when testing is not done under truly random conditions.
You are also basing some of your Panda claims on a false premise: that there is some huge lurking body of asymptomatics out there that have not been discovered. If there were, it would not stay undiscovered for long as serious cases would arise, be diagnosed and tested, and be contact traced. And the symptomatics, the 15% from this undiscovered group would be delivering themselves for testing and give the rest away.
You butflubros are always trying to count that 85% more than once. The 85% is among the tested. The tested are not the 15%.
Populated areas. Where I live, I doubt anything will get shut down. As of now, there’s really been no change. There was one walmart that got mobbed Fri night but it’s on the interstate. I can go buy anything I want any day of the week. Lysol and bleach a plenty. We don’t really use hand sanitizer so I haven’t looked for any. We just wash our hands. I’m a blue collar, grease monkey type so I’ve known how to wash my hands for a long time because I can see grease and grime and know how to get every square mm of hand surface. Hell, my dad taught me that 40 years ago.
...and I always thought math, at least basic math, was required to become a doctor. LOL!
And for every one of this story there are 90 stories that say it was not a big deal. But you dont want to and simply cannot acknowledge that.
“Our service sector is not going to die. It is going to realign.”
Agree, and the re-alignment will be MASSIVE - and the stock market is only beginning to figure that out.
Please take your disagreement back to the thread that you pinged your challenger from.
Thanks.
