Thread #16 is below and it ran for two days...

My last post was in error. We actually tested 2400 more and only had 100 more positive. We were getting 100 per thousand but it is dropping.
A good sign.
Thank you for the update!!
Glad I live up in Skagit.
“South Korea has not lock the entire country down, maybe we still have time not to end up like Italy. It appears all the schools in the US are closing down Monday.”
Hard to see how we avoid a total lockdown. We were way too slow in sealing off hot areas, or even in testing people. I just hope we don’t end up with Hillary in the White House because of that.
Blame the free traitors for the last 30 years, or since Clinton made China a trading partner.
But it was both parties, really. It was cheaper to manufacture in China. What could go wrong?
“However, the mortality among all of those who are infecteda much bigger numberis almost certainly less than one percent.”
Oh, good. So if this guy is right it’s only 10x as deadly as the flu.
However, it is more contagious, puts more people (proportionately, of course) in the hospital and ICU, and for longer stays, we have no vaccine and no herd immunity. So unchecked, this will affect way more people than the flu.
Of course, he’s “almost certainly” hedging his bet. He has to, since more than half the known cases have not resolved and the fatality rate is already over 1%. He is calming fears (commendable, but misguided) or he is hoping we find a crapload of other cases to buffer his stats.
Containment is key.
Math is hard, right?
I see a few of the meats are out, as well as variety packs of fruits and cheeses :- /
Grey - I now have a policy now that if I see the troll as either the sender or recipient of a post, I simply ignore the post (even when written by you or other legit people here...nothing personal).
Makes it go much quicker to keep up with recent developments.
Wow. Many thanks. Greatly appreciated.
And to think some people haven't sent anything, not realizing even a small contribution will help.
Hey, freepers. What would we do without FR? We need your help!
The appreciation all goes to you, Jim!
If I hadnt happened on this virus thread in January, I might have had the same fate as Laz!
NEW: Argentina’s president says border will be closed to foreigners from all countries in effort to stop coronavirus
And Rome. And I just found out a couple in our church just down the street (we havent been there in several weeks). This is a church of 2000+
some of our assumptions might be wrong because they are based on trusting sources which can reasonably be identified as less than trustworthy.
You are the less than trustworthy source. All you do is bloviate your pseudo-philosophical psycho babble (emphasis on psycho) and clog up the thread. You are not contributing.
And you smell like Panda.
Close barn door... horses already out... etc.
It’s that back and forth argument between two people that takes up half a thread. On better moderated forums, they would shut both of you down. You ruin the thread for everyone when you do that. We’re trying to read about coronavirus but half the posts are two people arguing over philosophical things.
That odor has permeated these threads for over a month now.
And what if it is?
How does that change anything, like how we deal with it now that it's here?
Your tinfoil, conspiracy theories are great mental exercises or idle speculation, but contribute NOTHING in how we prepare for and deal with the situation facing us now.
How it got here and where it came from is irrelevant at this point.
So unless you can PROVE your point instead of appealing to circumstantial evidence, do yourself and everyone else a favor and drop the issue.
It will do your future credibility on FR a LOT of good.
That’s not *all* you’re doing, you poor little martyr.
You are bringing it on yourself.
Don’t whine when you get the attention you looked for.
Fascinating. I’m very surprised that the rate of discovery is dropping already!
Hope it stays that way.
