Yesterday's thread is here: http://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3823939/posts?page=1301
Why is this ‘utter bs’?
UK and Ireland should definitely be on any exclusion list.
Domestic travel restrictions are tricky. For containment, it is obviously too late, for mitigation it may be a bit early.
But it is a tool that must be at ready if needed.
Dumb. If I ever tested positive, I would personally notify every place where I frequently go (the gas station, grocery stores, Wal-Mart, etc.).
The minute Trump said tents would be put in Walmart, Target and CVS was the minute I marked them off my shopping list.
These potentially sick people get a test and decide since they’re already there to go into the store.
Jane:
See my post 1056.
My wife is going to work at CVS all the way through this thing, and I agree with her decision, because people need her.
If she gets sick, she gets sick.
If I get sick as a result, I get sick.
We are just normal folks.
Critical infrastructure folks will step up and do what they have to do.
They should have the swabs in those plastic/tyvek wrappers and sample containers, at the front of a line, then, folks do their own swabbing, place into container, and drop off at a designated drop off, in the line.
Take your thermometer, and show results of your temp, thru the window, to techs.
No contact, between cars.
Classic projection.
YOU are doing the fear mongering.
Give us the stats on your claim.
If you claim you have facts, post something besides your opinion which is not worth the electrons it took to post it.
Because critical infrastructure like power will stay on. The load with industry being lower is less. There is no way this is feasible. Plus the grid isn’t designed in this fashion. It’s still independent and can be isolated very quickly.
I know we have disagreed on posts.
But what you are your wife are doing is what America is about.
Thank you for that.
It’s been quite refreshing.
Progress.
Is anyone else listening to this CV presser, with Dr Birx speaking?
Fast recap....
Tested....we’re close to S Kor
96 % of people tested, were negative....that means, however, that they had respiratory diseases, and most RDs are contagious....
So, if you have RD, you want to protect yourself/treat yourself, but also protect others...so, all with RD assume you have a contagious illness. If it’s not allergies, it’s a contagious illness.
Also, when you get a negative test....that means you’re negative THAT day...DOESN’T mean that you couldn’t get the virus, spreading overnight, it multiplies in your nose/nasal secretions, and you could possible test positive, tomorrow.
IOW...don’t start taking risks, just because you’ve tested neg.
If you have symptoms, assume you are contagious, and treat yourself as contagious.
Longtime HIV survivors....insure extra care to not get exposed.
This current critical live press conference is live on Fox but not on NBC, ABC, CBS. The most important one so far. Sports repeats on disgusting
We could always just wipe our hands on our pants, FWIW, or take Clorox wipes with us to the bathroom.
Lookner
Coronavirus Cases in Israel Spike to 164 as 38 Test Positive in West Bank
Lockouts, it’s happening. President Trump, Apple closing, and recommendations for more lockouts. Glad we prepped.
Thanks. Praying your scenario is right, and is what happens, throughout this.
Barf. That guy speaking at the presser right now is throwing out numbers. Most people will recover. 90% will recover. 98% will recover. 99% will recover. A lady at the nursing home recovered.
I do.
