New York’s hand sanitizer is 75% alcohol. They probably have a prisoner waiting list for who get to make it. These convicts will be drinking the stuff.

A few years ago, an article on hand sanitizer in prisons said that they had to buy sanitizers that couldn’t be consumed for the ethyl alcohol content.
I’m guessing that there will be problems with prison labor.

Under liberal logic people in penitentriary have more “freedom” that those who are not.
They have freedom from hunger, freedom from homelessness, freedom from unemployment, freedom from “gun violence”.
Democrat Party ideals.

That’s the sound of the men workin’ on the hand sanitizer ga-a-ang.
That’s the sound of the men workin’ on the hand sanitizer gang.
All day long they work so hard
Till the sun is goin’ down
Makin’ hand sanitizer with a floral scent
And wearing, wearing a frown

If prisons become death camps, will those arrested fight back with deadly force?

I would have zero confidence in the quality of anything made by prison labor.

It’s mostly isopropyl ethanol, which isn’t as toxic as Methanol, but not as nice as grain ethanol in normal booze. Not that felons care.
