California Governor Gavin Newsom offered rare praise of President Trump and Vice President Pence as more individuals across his state continue to test positive for the Coronavirus. During a presser, Newsom was asked about the federal response to the outbreak and whether they were doing enough to combat it—Democratic presidential candidates and some mainstream media members claim Trump is not doing enough. “We had a very long conversation, and every single thing he said they followed through on,” Governor Newsom told the group of reporters.

I have a strong suspicion that Democratic politicians are generally very hesitant to criticize Trump over his administration’s handling of the coronavirus for one simple reason. This “pandemic” would give him all the authority and legal standing he needs to do the very last thing they would ever want him to do: seal our borders and suspend international flights to the U.S. from most of the world.
I’m gobsmacked.
I stopped following the coronavirus news once it his the US because every story was an attack piece on Trump, not real information.
