New Jersey officials declared a state of emergency Monday amid growing concerns about the spread of coronavirus in the state, which now has 11 people who have tested positive.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in New Jersey rose to 11 on Monday. Officials also said 24 additional people in the Garden State are under investigation as potential infection cases by the state Department of Health

DHEC investigating seventh possible case of COVID-19 in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSAV) – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is investigating a seventh possible case of COVID-19, the agency announced today.
DHEC says a Camden man tested presumptive positive for the coronavirus on Sunday. He was not hospitalized and is currently isolated at home. The agency says the man had direct contact with a previously announced presumptive positive case.

One interesting part of the data is the high female positive rate.
International studies show about the reverse male/female ratio.
I am guessing that this is because so many nursing home residents have been tested. Because female life expectancy is several years more than male, nursing home residents are more likely to be female.

Pottawattamie County announces COVID-19 case

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Pottawattamie County announced Monday it had confirmed a case of the COVID-19 virus.
The county’s health department said in a brief news release that the first local case of the new virus had been confirmed and that more details would be released later in the day.
The new case followed an announcement Sunday of Iowa’s first COVID-19 cases, as three individuals from Johnson County had tested positive for the virus. All had recently taken a cruise in Egypt and were recovering at home.
