Yep, I bought a box of 200 Nitrile gloves online about a month ago for less than $10. Also a box of 10 disposable surgical masks for less than $7. The local CVS here was selling masks individually out of a box today for $10 each.
I was late to the hand sanitizer a few days ago, but still got two 8 oz bottles on ebay for about $6.50 apiece. Now what they have is 2 to 5 times more expensive.
That local CVS should be reported to Corporate. Surely that is not something they would condone.
But then again..maybe the Regional Manager told them to do it.
Plus they arent very sanitary now by pulling them out of the box.
Lowes and Homedepot are stocking up on paper goods getting ready. Lowes had plenty of everything except masks and sanitizer. Didnt check gloves
you need to report that CVS to your state attny office. Price gouging is illegal.
Just get yourself some 91% rubbing alcohol...and paper towels. Put towels in Ziplock type bag, and soak with Rubbing alcohol. I carry one with me when I go into a store and use it everywhere I feel the need, especially if they make me SIGN something at the register. Or, even a spray bottle with the Rubbing Alcohol to spray your hands with when needed...and your steering wheel, gear shift, door handle, and on, and on, and on...JUST some ideas.
