Because of the latency period of this disease these airport measures are like triple locks on the front door while your side door has fallen off the hinges.

It’s the “until then” part that’s troublesome....we are just trying to avoid ANY flu/virus....how long is this season going to last? Of course, as I said some time ago, because of all the panic over Covid...this flu season could end up being not as harmful as ones in past. I try to remember the H1N1...12000 deaths....and no one really said boo.
That’s the first batch. I assume if they confirm infections, they will begin moving the entire 3,000+ to quarantine ashore, and conduct better testing there.

Just get yourself some 91% rubbing alcohol...and paper towels. Put towels in Ziplock type bag, and soak with Rubbing alcohol. I carry one with me when I go into a store and use it everywhere I feel the need, especially if they make me SIGN something at the register. Or, even a spray bottle with the Rubbing Alcohol to spray your hands with when needed...and your steering wheel, gear shift, door handle, and on, and on, and on...JUST some ideas.

You have to do more research on that. SOmething about that it is too strong and you really need 70 percent. I have to figure this one out.

I picked up the last rubbing alcohol on the grocery shelf this morning.
Exactly. And I was told that a second, slightly different pneumonia shot would be needed next year. Remember, for me, the first shot occurred mid-January during review of my annual physical results when the shot was strongly suggested.

I thought more of the tests would be available today, but we are reading about a lot of problems getting these tests on line—something to watch one day at a time.
Better and cheaper to just deport him back to Pakistan.
