THIS JUST IN: 3 additional novel #coronavirus cases confirmed in Contra Costa County, officials say. 2 of the patients were on the Grand Princess cruise ship and the other patient had close contact with another COVID-19 patient in another jurisdiction.

They’ve closed their offices for sanitizing.
* And the tests? Who, where, and what gets sanitizing afterwards?
* Safety assurances? We aren’t signing anything. Period.

“Folks do not want to hear this, but I am predicting the New York state National Guard will be enforcing a quarantine on parts of NYC before this is over....and I think Governor Cuomo already knows this.”

Yes! He passed a very draconian executive privilege or law giving him total control just a day or so ago. Heard about it on the radio this morning.

why cant someone figure out whether we should use this test that others are using

15-minute coronavirus blood test is being used in China, Italy and Japan – but NOT in the UK or US because health officials have yet to approve it

Think it is more likely they knew they lost control and have been slow playing testing to cover up their loss of control as long as possible.

Do you know why we can’t use this test? Is it not reliable?

Way ahead here on the vinegar. And will probably get more and baking soda tomorrow.
And on the “credulous” question above, our household is in line with Dr Tenpenny’s research.

The question then becomes, what is the viral load *typically* necessary to spread infection?

I agree. One of the most important factors during this pandemic has not been addressed.

Many hospitals with exterior rooms and/or top floor rooms can be easily converted to negative pressure. Does the exhaust air then have to be HEPA filtered or can it be dissipated to the exterior of the hospital without spreading further infection?

Most homes can also be set up quickly (magnetic return air blocker, duct booster, exhaust window fan) with a negative pressure room. This is a priority factor moving forward.

Probably because it’s NIH (not invented here) at the CDC.

I suspect some of the double talk is related to a shortage (or soon to be shortage) of some of the necessary reagents. Just a WAG though.

They are trolling trying to prevent panic. One even clearly stated that.

So if I smell smoke and see a fire off in the distance at 3 am, should I panic my neighbors and try to wake them up ?
