"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg didn't realize on Wednesday that the "Dr." in Dr. Jill Biden's title didn't represent a medical degree.
After former Vice President Joe Biden's wins on Super Tuesday, Goldberg floated the candidate's wife for surgeon general.
"I'm hoping Dr. Jill becomes the surgeon general ... she's a hell of a doctor. She's an amazing doctor," Goldberg said, as if she knew of the former second lady's medical expertise.

Hey, my official degree was a Bachelor of Journalism (yup, they unblushing announced your degree by the initials.) Clearly, I wasn’t as accomplished in this regard as Matt Lauer or Charlie Rose.
It’s common knowledge that the schools of education at major universities do not attract the sharpest students. Probably lower than the journo schools....

Mrs. jimfree is also a doctor that “can’t do you any good”. Ann is a Ph.D. historian. We use the handle Dr. from time to time but not in every breath like the Bidens.

Degrees in any “education” field is absolutely worthless.
My daughter has an ed degree from Purdue and teaches 3rd grade. I think she’s very capable. So I disagree.
Sorry....but a degree in “how to teach” is absolutely worthless.
In addition, the typical entrant into an education degree is in the bottom 25% percentile of SAT scores.
The end product would be better if teachers had “real degrees” because the current results of Big Education is a TOTAL FAILURE and socialist indoctrination.
As an MBA w/national honors, I also spent a few years as an adjunct professor in our University’s Business School, did an exceptional job based on common final scores...and never had an “education degree”.
