"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg didn't realize on Wednesday that the "Dr." in Dr. Jill Biden's title didn't represent a medical degree.
After former Vice President Joe Biden's wins on Super Tuesday, Goldberg floated the candidate's wife for surgeon general.
"I'm hoping Dr. Jill becomes the surgeon general ... she's a hell of a doctor. She's an amazing doctor," Goldberg said, as if she knew of the former second lady's medical expertise.

You're right on the mark, Jill Biden wants the title of First Lady so bad she can taste it.
Jill Biden can’t be the Surgeon General. Dr. Dre already has first dibs on that appointment.
Jill Biden is an EdD, a “doctorate” of education. She isn’t an MD nor a PhD.
An EdD is a very much dumbed-down “graduate” degree for education majors. To call someone with an EdD “Doctor” is laughable.
Hoopie Goldberg is in the bottom quartile of IQ’s so I wouldn’t expect her to know the differences between an MD, PhD or EdD.

For those who don’t know, BM = Bachelor of Music. Worth the same as the other type.
Just learned this, when confirming whether this “English professor” had a PhD or EdD:

I taught at a community college for a couple of years. I enjoyed teaching students but being on faculty was not my idea of a good time.
One of my co-workers decided to get a doctoral degree so that she could eventually teach at a university. Someone advised her to go for an EdD. After she had been there a couple of weeks, she told me that it was an absolute joke. I would not believe, she said, how ridiculously easy this was going to be. She said it did not remotely compare to getting a Master’s or even a Bachelor’s in nursing.
I left the job shortly after that so I don’t know if she completed the degree

Jill Bined is a democrat. It doesn’t matter if she’s actually trained in medicine, those who follow are required to pretend Jill is the best at everything - just like Michelle Obama.

She’s a doctor .... of education! I have a sister who used to work for a large city daily paper. According to her the direction from the VP’s office was that she always be called Dr Jill Biden. Normally that honorific is reserved for MDs only.
