5W Public Relations has conducted a survey via phone of 737 American beer drinkers over the age of 21 on February 25 & 26, 2020, regarding their opinions about the popular Mexican beer brand, Corona, as a result of the deadly coronavirus that's spreading around the world.
The survey found that:
38% of beer-drinking Americans would not buy Corona under any circumstances now
Among those who said they usually drink Corona, only 4% said they would stop drinking Corona, but 14% said they wouldn't order Corona in a public venue
16% of beer drinking Americans were confused about whether Corona beer is related to the coronavirus

The idea that the Corona Virus is even remotely related to Corona Beer is just the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
I may buy some Corona just because of this.
40 years ago I asked my doctor if it was my imagination that i got a headache after 2 Millers but not some other brands.
He said it wasn’t my imagination. Subtle differences in the composition could do that.
BTW, Corona is safe as far as the virus is concerned. I did go out with a woman MANY years ago who said she would not drink certain beers because she said the Mexicans would pee in the vats when they were on strike. Not making that up. I should disclose that she was a “dancer” in a topless bar. A pretty hot looker though.

Mexico is one of the great brewing countries in the world.
I actually love Modelo, Pacifico and Bohemia. All are Mexican brands. Try them with a little lime or even lemon. On other hand, I literally hate the taste of Mexican beers like Corona and Dos eques. They’re putrid to my pallet.

I don’t know. I don’t drink mass produced domestic beer and I don’t drink anything from Mexico. In fact I try not to buy Mexican products at all when I have a choice.
Well, drinking too many Coronas has made a lot of people feel real sick the next morning...
