I think the author is of the opinion that Bloomberg can’t win the nomination outright, so he will need to secure the nomination at a brokered convention — and “stopping Sanders” is almost certainly necessary for him to do that.
Mike can’t go away fast enough for me.
I’ve had to quit listening to the radio in the mornings again because I can’t handle his damned ads running every five minutes.
No, he's not in any trouble. He can keep spending more money than any candidate in the history of America all the way through November, not get a single vote, and still be one of the wealthiest people in the world with his own news service, able to keep buying politians and maybe even entire political parties, and holding onto a continued revenue stream that ensures he remains so for life. That's not a route to election, but it's also not trouble. Bloomburg wpuld be "in trouble" if laws were passed to prevent the ultra wealthy, such as himself, from having such an outsized voice in politics. Politicians, including ones that he "bought", would have to pass those laws though.
I know the way mini-Mike can turn things around. He could pay every Freeper $100k per month to post on social media for him. (Of course we get to choose what we post, since fabricated and duplicate posts would result in social media accounts being suspended or deleted.)
Actually he is right in line with their Democrat Fascist control everything mindset, problem is average Dems have a mindless hate for “the rich”
Begs a lot of questions as to why Bloomberg got into this race in the first place. What issues , base of support, does he have in the Democratic party? What is the reason for his candidacy? Is he just skirting campaign finance regulations since he’s spending unlimited amounts of his own money on his own campaign, and can do so as long as he’s a declared candidate? Is it perhaps that simple? Does he have a big ego?
Mike’s probably got a lot of explaining to do - to his wife.

Mike Bumbleberg is not going to have the CHANCE to take a real shot at President Trump. Mike may be reduced to the role of bankrolling various state government offices around the nation and placing his own “fifth column” of subversive lawyers in positions in the various state administrations and legislatures, to pass his agenda (mostly anti-Second Amendment) in purple states and to attempt to convert red to at least purple.
Mike’s means, motives and potential opportunities are not entirely hidden, but there has to be a continuous hammering and throwing of light in dark corners to keep the threat at least manageable.
Termites and cockroaches are a bear to control once they get established.
Mike can spend a billion, he can spend 10 billion and he is not going to hurt.
He’s blanketing Youtube and cable TV as well.
Now I know what blowing a half a billion looks like.
He never had a snowball’s chance, from day one. But he sure can spend the money with media and staffer/web-bots.
