Meghan Markle has told friends there is nothing 'legally stopping' her and Prince Harry from using their Sussex Royal name, despite the Queen banning them from using it, DailyMail.com has learned.
The 38-year-old complained to her inner circle that using the name 'shouldn't even be an issue in the first place and it's not like they want to be in the business of selling T-shirts and pencils,' the insider said.
They added: 'Meghan said she's done with the drama and has no room in her life for naysayers, and the same goes for Harry.'
On Tuesday, DailyMail revealed the Queen and senior officials agreed the two could no longer keep the word 'royal' in their 'branding', despite the likely thousands of dollars Meghan and Harry have already sunk into their website and trademark

I’m pretty sure that Crown Royal didn’t get permission from the queen for their name.
So we are supposed to put her to death because she married a prince and then they left the royal family, and we care about this why? And why is this a capital offense to us?

There are strict laws in the UK. Not sure why people are not understanding that.
Even Meghan has now conceded as per law they can’t use it in the UK or it’s territories.
Even if all the stars line up, Harry will never get the Throne. Chuckie is NOT Harry’s papa. Harry’s daddy was trampy Di’s riding instructor.
That’s why the Queen let him marry Markle. A simple DNA test would be presented to him and he would bow out. I’d bet he already knows who his papa is.
The only saving grace to trampy Di, is that she induced some alpha male into the family.

I first have to ask if this mudding of the waters has anything to do with the couple being expected back in England for the annual Commonwealth Service as part of earning their final paycheck? Does she not want to come?
She may try to clean Harry’s clock but most of his assets are untouchable in trusts and long-term investment vehicles. I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a prenup or some other marriage contract. Abandoning the family to live as a commoner, she’ll have a hard time convincing a court she’s entitled to a royal standard of living. Intent to defraud seems obvious given her immediate pregnancy and scant work effort. As for little Archie, it’s on record she insisted he be known as, and raised as, a commoner, devoid of titles, keeping his christening secret so as to appoint commoners as godparents rather than royals. She’ll have a bit of trouble backpeddling on such public statements and actions. Otoh, Charles can order his son and his grandchild back to court as subjects of the Crown.
People are going to hate her even more for the repeated stress she’s putting the Queen under. People like their queen and want her in strong health, given the alternative of Charles.
Some people are going to wind up in the Tower of London.
He can still be Prince Harry, it is just a courtesy title after all. He may no longer be the Duke of Sussex.
That title was given to him by the Queen and may be taken back at any time.
So they could not use the Royal part in the UK and possibly the commonwealth depending on how the commonwealth countries want to play it and they could not use Sussex either.
I remember reading prenups are not the same there as in the US ...and she can clean his clock.

I am in 100% agreement with you on all that you said. And, yes, I am so aware of how fortunate I am to still have my parents. Still living on their own in their home. They both have Apple iPads and an Apple iphone XR. ;) It always makes me laugh (or frown) when the Apple threads go off because even my parents in their 90’s use those devices.
I am holding out hope for William. I think Kate is a good match for him and I believe they are very serious about their lot in life.
If you haven’t watched The Crown, it really gives you an inkling into the mind of the monarchy and why it matters so much to them and even to the people of England. It portrays some very interesting events, understanding they are no doubt taking artistic license, it is so well done.
the law that allows the Monarchy the exclusive right to bestow titles, styles and peerages on commoners, and take them back just as quickly. For instance, the Duchy of Sussex cannot be owned or inherited by a female. So the Duchess of Sussex is is out of luck trying to get any portion of the Duchy in a divorce. Smart Queen, that one.
As to Harry, since he’s a royal in the line of succession regardless of how far down he is, it would indeed take a parliamentary act to remove him from the line of succession. But it does not take an act of parliament to strip him of all titles and styles save that of Prince, as the Queen has already done.
