John Krasinski is pushing back on criticism that his selection of specific military and government characters is somehow his way of playing “red state heroes” -- as some have speculated, according to Esquire -- without dipping his toes in anything political.
The former “Office” star, who has played a former Navy SEAL-turned-private military contractor working in Benghazi in Michael Bay’s 2016 film “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” opened up to the outlet about his decision to act in projects that celebrate the military and said his connection to these types of roles is genuine and not a ploy to curry favor with conservative values.

He comes from a long line of Leftist loons, according to his bio. So why should we be surprised he goes snowflake when he’s accused of promoting normal politics, if not Center-Right, like about 70% of the country?

There is a story a bit below this one about Harrison Ford not commenting on his politics earlier in his career. (He should have kept it that way). NOW the Left wants to destroy an actor for playing roles that they disagree with?? These people are officially out of control. I HOPE I don’t hear politics out of Krasinski as I suspect he is a Lefty, like most in Hollyweird. I would still like to see his movies, so John, please keep your opinions to yourself so I can enjoy your acting.

He was raised in Newton, MA which is overwhelmingly rich ad liberal. I would imagine he is left of center but at least he didn’t say Trump supporters are deranged or whatever. At least I didn’t sense that in his quotes.

Leftists hate America so much that they know a leftist would never be in any kind of position to fight for America. So by default, anything that remotely shows anyone fighting for America is conservative.
They are weak pant-loads and they know it.
So if he portrayed “Blue State Soldiers” he’d be fighting for the Soviet Union.
