Looking for some advice dealing with a horrid little kid.
One of my younger daughters attends a non-Jewish secular STEM school in the USA. (It is about 1/4 Jewish.) She is a freshman. Very, very smart -- as in 1460 PSAT freshman smart, all high As, multilingual. GREAT athlete.
With considerable reluctance, I allowed her to participate in a program where young ladies are "presented" in society. She looked lovely and frum.
There is a young boy that has caused a bit of a trouble for her over the years. He's smart, father a bird colonel in the USAF, mother a doctor. He is not Jewish. I have a professional relationship with the father.
Said boy, about a year ago, thought it funny to draw swastikas on my daughter's school book. We blew it off.
Recently, at the above-mentioned social function, in the limo (with about 20 kids), he plugged in a rap song about how fun it is to kill Jews. (The other boys, all non-Jewish in the vehicle, strongly objected and made him turn it off.)
Mrs. Jewbacca is of the mind to blow this off and simply avoid the little s--t.
After my initial desire to beat the crap out of a 15 year old boy passed, I am left with a quandary.
Do I say anything? Specifically, do I speak to the father? If so, what do I say? I am of mixed minds, as I presume they learn this stuff at home. But his father (who very much knows I am Israeli) has never been anything but professional. And I would want to know if my kid was being a stupid s--t.
And the motive may not be antisemitism, in that, objectively speaking, my daughter is pretty (and smarter) and the kid is a bit of a fat troll.

Talking to the school never crossed my mind, nor the father’s CO, nor anything involving the law.
It’s dad-to-dad or nothing.

I just read this thread.
First, this sucks, and I am sorry it is happening.
Second, this is not reflective of the USA.
Third, I was thinking about how this thread would have gone if it was on the Democrat Underground. They would have: (1) blamed Trump; (2) demanded police, newspaper, school, and military retribution.
Very impressed that the actions discussed were 99% about dealing man to man.

Totally agree. First talk to the parent. This is the way these things used to be handled.
This kid is also getting a little old to be picking on girls for attention. He is almost at dating age.

Invite the parents and kid over for dinner. After a pleasant evening, turn the the discussion to WWII, have some props around if needed to spur conversation. Segue into the holocaust and involve the parents of the little twerp in expressing their disgust for the atrocities of the Nazis. Then bring up how modern day Jews will never forget what they have lived and continue to live through as a people. At this point ask the little twerp if he has anything to say. If he does not have the coconuts to say anything, peel the dad off from the crowd and tell him what has been going on. If he is worth his weight in salt as an officer, he should do the right thing and correct the boy in public.
As an aside, I think their is more going on here. He might be threatened by your daughter academically or perhaps this is his twisted way to get her attention because he likes her. Dunno, more going on that meets the eye.
I would also enroll your daughter in Krav Maga or Gracie Jujitsu. Either one will get a young lady out of a jam with a stronger opponent.
Remind your daughter everyday how beautiful she is so when she hears it from some creep she does not fall for what she’s not heard before.

I know this doesn’t help at all, but I hate people who hate Jews. That said, I would suggest that if this is in any way related to her school, you have a firm, polite, but no nonsense talk with the administrators and let them know you will take the utmost legal action against them and the school. That may work, since they’re pretty much always a bunch of gutless weasels. Good luck either way.

Hallelujah this troll of 20 years on FR is gone. Hopefully forever & not just a temporary ban.
I’m not trying to be unnecessarily harsh to Generation Z, but a lot of them are socially maladjusted in many ways. I think them having access to social media and constant entertainment their entire lives has impacted their development.
They have a hard time interacting in real life and are anxious and awkward. They have a tendency to be very performative about how they behave, and they act in what a lot of older people would consider juvenile and effeminate.
This is saying a lot since I’m part of the snowflake Millennial generation.
I believe he faked that page.
May very well be this punk has no clue what the Holocaust was about and wouldn’t understand the significance of a swastika if one were shoved up his you know where. All he knows is his behavior angers and upsets people and he gets off on that. Perhaps a trip to a Holocaust Museum may, just may put some sense into him. Failing that, a good ass whupping would be in order.

It is the same reason some kids will misbehave where their parents will see them to get a reaction, even though the reaction will be negative, out of them. Children can not stand to be ignored. As we get older we should out grow this childish behavior but some people grow up later then others and some do not grow up at all.
Someone once wisely told me that the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. He would rather have her hate him then be ignored. Her hatred would at least validate that he exists in her world. Eventually if not curtailed he will end up hating her and that is where things get nasty.
1. Talk to your daughter, first, and ask her for all the details.
2. Talk to his father. Period.
