President Trump is planning on taking the presidential limo, known as "The Beast," for a ride at the Daytona 500.
The White House is working with NASCAR officials for Trump to do a lap on the Daytona track in Florida to start off the racing season on Sunday, sources told Fox News White House correspondent John Roberts, who said the plan is "not 100%" as the logistics are still being worked out.
SCOOP: Multiple Sources tell @FoxNews that @realDonaldTrump is planning to take a lap at the @DISupdates Daytona International Speedway in the “Beast” presidential limo ahead of the Daytona 500. It’s not 100%, but that is the plan at the moment.

No kidding! I had the opportunity to drive that track last year and was amazed at how steep it is. It would be difficult to stand on one of the banks. Driving it was a thrill. Don’t know if I’d want to try it in the Beast though.

After the race at Daytona kids would get big cardboard boxes from the infield concessions and climb up the banks and slide down...Tiny “marbles” from the tires on the track would allow them to go down just like snow sledding...

You are absolutely right. It’s a great idea but it coming out in advance could stop it. Do they still have a leak problem? It would not be the first time a great idea was scotched because of advanced notice.

Trump Construction was based in one of their apartment buildings on Avenue Z and West Second Street in Brooklyn. I lived across the street and saw the FT and DJT license plates on their Blue limos frequently.

Even if he did drive just before he decided to run for President I recall that they cannot drive on public roads as President. On private closed roads I think they can. I seem to recall some pictures of W behind the wheel on his own property.
