High School Girls Sue After Being Forced To Compete Against Transgender Athletes

Three Connecticut high school track runners filed a lawsuit against their athletic conference Wednesday to block born-male athletes from competing against them.

Selina Soule, Alanna Smith, and Chelsea Mitchell argue the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) is accommodating an unfair advantage for transgender athletes by allowing biological males to compete against girls. Connecticut is one of 17 states that currently allows transgender athletes to compete without restriction according to their gender identity, reports the Connecticut Post.

“It is not fair for any boy to compete against girls,” Smith told the Connecticut Post. “That biological unfairness doesn’t go away because of what someone believes about gender identity. All girls deserve a chance to compete on a level playing field.”

The girls first got involved in February 2019 when athletes Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood, both born male, took first and second at the state open indoor track championships.

Soule says the athletes prevented her from making it further into the tournament. (RELATED: Here’s Everything The NYT Left Out Of Its Story On Transgender Athletes)

“When I was in the indoor season I was in the 8th place of the state open and only the top six qualify for the New England regional meet– because there were two transgender athletes that put me into 8th place, if they weren’t there I would have been in 6th and I would have made it into the finals and I would have qualified for the New England meet — instead of watching my own event from the sidelines,” Soule told the Daily Caller at the time.

The Alliance Defending Freedom is representing the three girls in their lawsuit, with attorney Christiana Holcomb saying that the two transgender athletes have won 15 championships since 2017 that were previously held by nine separate girls. The lawsuit argues those 15 wins cost the girls 85 opportunities to compete between 2017 and 2019, according to the Connecticut Post.

The bizarre lesson feminists should take from the woke community is: men are better than women, even at being women!

Back to the DNA drawing board: whatever the DNA says the person is: s/he IS.
There is NO SUCH THING as a "TRANSGENDER."

Born males will DIE like males: bushy eyebrows, hairy ears, pot belly and loss of head hair...no matter how much of the female hormones they've ingested.

DNA trumps EVERYTHING.

Sort of ironic that the feminists who wanted to be treated like men, are now being shut down by a group of men who wanted to be treated like women.

That group of men are A**HOLES!
So were/are the women who wanted to be treated like men.

“Losing championships is not really important but losing SCHOLARSHIPS is”

That is the real reason for the complaints. It is a lot easier for a female to obtain a sports scholarship than a male because of competition. Colleges have to have enough female sports teams to offer female scholarships in order to offset the male football and basketball scholarships.

misleading headline...nobody forced them to compete.

Maybe that’s the immediate answer...teams should just not compete if a male is in a female event.

That is the obvious solution, isn’t it?

Bit the poor girls are scared to death of being labeled “transphobic.” They must fear the huge Homo/trans lobby descending on them more than doing the right thing which is to stand up and scream “This team refuses to play along with this ridiculous charade — those are MEN and we will not compete against them.”

Just wait for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. You will see world-class female athletes losing badly to transgender women, and the ensuing discussion should be rather interesting.

I doubt that; at least in the realm of physical ability. Boys and girls track meets are usually held together. Winning times, distances and heights are announced throughout the meet. In smaller schools boys and girls practice together. Female track athletes have reality right in front of them day after day.

I would imagine that’s one of the reasons that it’s girls from this sport who are among the first to fight against the unfairness of transgender athletes.

‘females had to answer a higher percentage of questions correctly to get the same score as males so get over yourself that you are superior in brain power.’

This smug feminist whackjob is LYING. I’ve been tutoring the SAT & ACT since 2004 and female students are NOT required to answer a greater number of questions than male students are. Smug, deceitful cow.
