[[They took away our paper grocery bags and said we must use plastic]]

Now they are taking away our plastic and demanding that we use ‘reusable bags’ (ie canvas bags that harbor pathogens), OR pay .10 per paper bag-

Meanwhile across the border in many parts of Canada hydro-power provides some of the cheapest power in the world...

Sounds like more good material for the border barrier.

Except it’s bullshit, they are being recycled:

Along with boats and other fiberglass crap that’s made in far greater volume and which has been put in landfills for decades.

I wonder how many birds, bats and insects are destroyed by these blades? Environmental hazard?

Why don't they stand them on end and use them for outer walls on government buildings?

Great idea. I was thinking mixing shredded blade material in asphalt, myself.

Conservatives need to come up with some kind of Disclaimer Time Capsule to explain to future civilizations that all the CRAP they’re uncovering was not created by ALL AMERICANS, but by a group of unbelievably stupid liberals.

The blades actually can be "recycled," and I know a guy who works for the only company that does it. However, the "recycling" essentially consists of breaking down the old blade into transportable pieces and re-using and re-processing the material to make new blades - kind of like re-cycling old newsprint.

However, it is true that a lot of the old blades are piling-up in landfills because it's easier and cheaper to just make new ones instead of recycling the old ones. That's why my friend's company is struggling a bit.

Just might work if they were filled with concrete.

“they are being recycled:”

Seem like they are using the ground pieces as an aggregate, like gravel in a concrete mix, when mixed with new material.

Could be used like re-bar too, if the breakdown technology gets a bit more efficient.

Maybe an aerodynamic car body? Tesla two-

Imagine parts of a turbine blade, especially the surfaces, re-manufactured into a honeycomb or screenlike material, then overfilled with concrete or other polymer or resin.

One heck of an anti Migre Wall at the border.

The resin glue will burn. The carbon fiber and fiberglass won’t burn.

The Seatopians will object and send Megalon to destroy the Earth.

Looks like a CAT 8 or 9 Dozer, and those blades dwarf it.
