Possible case identified in Lawrence KS. Individual had recently returned from Wuhan china. Under observation.

Beans, Rice,—cheap and still plenty on the shelves at Walmart. Throw them in a 5 gallon bucket-they last forever. Throw in a few boxes of oatmeal, wheat, and popcorn or corn meal.
Popcorn was the pioneer cold breakfast cereal. Popped at night and served in the morning with a little liquid-milk or whatever. Popcorn lasts longer than corn meal, and it can be ground into meal as needed.

BTW, the freezing level was 7500+ ft, at any time during this flight the pilot could have went 'inadvertent entry to IMC', pulled power and been in the clouds for less than 20 secs before ending up in the clear above the cloud/fog/smog deck. LOL. Popcorn should always be at the top of every grocery list.
Actually, I make it a point that every time I go to the store I will buy at least one item for the long term pantry such as:
Salt
Pepper
Baking Soda
Beans
Rice
Honey
Sugar
For canned goods, I buy one for current use and one for the pantry. Etc. And when a sale hits-I load up. Just bought a year’s supply of coffee last week when it was on sale. Keeps my shelves stashed without a lot of effort.
Until they don't.

We have a better health care system than China. (NOT socialized!) Monitor, but we are in a lot better shape than they are and we don’t eat bats, sea slugs, crawling things, insects, that sort of stuff., !)

Just what I’ve been saying—and don’t forget we have SOAP-in public bathrooms and elsewhere—they don’t. No wonder illness gets a quick foothold. Sanitation is one of the most important things for reducing disease and deaths.

Univ Kansas (Jayhawk)... I was a toddler a little east of there after WWII: Eudora. We didn't even have a road to our house, never thought we would need one; no running water. RR tracks ran through the front yard, Mexican family lived on further down the tracks. Our house burnt down and the town folk came and sat on the RR embankment and watched it burn. What else could they do?
