but did they even read the reports coming out of China about people spreading it before getting sick!!?!!
The problem with extrapolation of any data set is the quality of the data, and educated guesses about the future.
We can all agree that the data is tainted, and the quality sucks. And without good data any guess about the future is “uneducated.”
We are in the first inning of this thing.
here is hoping it mutates to a lesser version..we sure as heck don’t have enough robots to treat everyone like that guy in washington.
The press there ought be pissed. Looks like the patient flew in, likely both symptomatic and infectious,then went to the hospital the next day. Sounds like the patient flew in to get treated in Canada. Family is in self-isolation. Contract tracing on the planes for people seated within three rows of the patient even though transmission is not completely understood. Mortality rate in China may be as high as 10%?

she also said that if he didn’t have symptoms yet he likely wasn’t contagious.....don’t they read the news coming out of China? they acting on like 2 week old info or something
Patient was transported with contact precautions because family warned paramedics. Boy, sure sounds like the patient came to Canada to get care and screw the public safety.

It scares me more when they are obviously downplaying the situation. We will see tomorrow if there are pics on the net of teams in haz mat suits carrying rifles loading patients into ambulances in Toronto.
This case will answer some questions. Long flight. Had the virus. Symptomatic. Recircled air. No masks.
