Gotta ask again. If the VP was assigned to be point man for foreign policy re Ukraine and then his son gets an unusually lucrative position in that country based on nothing but family connection, wouldn't that obviously be a corrupt conflict of interest?
How about if the same thing happens in other countries, say China, for instance?
If said corrupt VP now wants to be president of the U.S. wouldn't it be in our national interest to investigate this?
How dare you ask that!
I demand that Jim Robinson be IMPEACHED IMMEDIATELY!
If a Republican VP were to do such a thing, it would be a very serious violation of the law.
You know the rest...
Yeah, if it was a Republican.....................
Imagine if it had been Quayle or Cheney.
Depends. It’s not obvious if you’re looking the other way, with your eyes closed tight and your head buried deeply in the sand.
Otherwise, obvious.
And then that VP threats to withhold $1 billion in US aid unless the Prosecutor, investigating the company his son is being paid by, is fired.
Don’t belive it? Watch for yourself
Of course if you have nothing to get blackmailed on, then the RATS wont trust you.
Not if you are a Rat.
Not to mention the brother’s lucrative earnings for the years Joe was VP. One would have to compare the amount of money the company took in while Joe was a Senator, to what it was during his 8 years as VP. I’d bet there was a big increase in cash earning during that 8 years as compared to the years he was a Senator. The only way to explain the increase would be due to his brother’s influential position. It’s another form of nepotism. Although they can’t give them staff jobs, they can line their pockets other ways.
I read it here at FR just today - I’ll go find the thread - a point that made perfect sense.
The entire reason Quid Pro Joe is running for president is to protect his coke fiend son.
Biden announced his candidacy just after this Burisma scandal broke. He’s one stupid SOB, but someone (anyone) smarter than him clued him in to the possibility that he and Hunter would be going to jail over this unless.... he was a declared candidate and protected from Trump allegations.
Well, too bad. He can make all the claims that he won’t testify in the Senate trial - but he is still screwed.
Of course it’s obvious he’s crooked. Maybe to the tune of Billions being made.
I think Trump will destroy him on this point in debates and in general.
I never want dems to go unpunished but it would be a strong weapon to hit him over the head with until the general election.
I don’t know if that’s me being negative about chances of a dem ever getting in real trouble over something like this or me just wanting first and foremost for Donald Trump to be president through 2024.
And being able to pummel biden throughout the campaign on his crimes would be a great thing.
It is the explicitly stated and under oath position of the house managers for the impeachment that that is a made up theory that no one, and they stressed that “no one” bit, agreed with. Kind of hard to get a straight answer when that’s where they have decided to place their marker on that question.
Ok, I think I’ve figured out this prolific streak you’re suddenly on.
John forgot (;-) to tell you that he changed the code to remove the headline length limit, right ?
Ukraine was a neocon and Democrat party ATM. Tax dollars given by the USA. Kickbacks to US politicians families, and neocon contributors.
Ukraine is a giant money laundering operation and the source of the Russia hoax..,,and Trump started looking into it.
Didnt Hunter Biden fly to China on Air Force one, and come home with $1 billion dollar contract?
I guarantee you there are a lot of angry Democrat and Republican Senators - but what they’re angry at is the clumsy, obvious, ham-handed way that Joe went about selling his influence for foreign cash. It’s so obvious to everyone even paying a minimum of attention that Biden is corrupt - that it is making it uncomfortable for the rest of those in the Senate club. Lindsey was squirming earlier today when confronted with a question about quid-pro Joe.
Immediately and with prejudice...
When it is all said and done the whole State Dept scheme of shipping money to countries and getting kickbacks through the “washing machine” that really came into force post WW2 and the Marshall Plan will be laid bare
George Soros taps into this money and admits on a video that this is his favorite game. Open Society is the name of the initiative and it promotes funding dissidents in each country to stir up trouble and they hope topple the current regime into a “compliant” one who joins the Global team.
We have been funding this nonsense for decades, and it is time to stop! Would love to build spreadsheet showing the before, during and after impacts of all of the multiple billions that went out and hat the result was or is.
Very Trumpian, ROI really
Sic Semper Tyrranis!

I've been saying for months that Joe Biden never had any interest in running for President until the spring of 2019. The short timeline in Post #1 overlooks a significant event: the Ukraine elections in March and April of 2019.
Here's my guess at what happened:
1. Joe Biden left office as VP in January 2017 and knew his political career was over. He had no interest in running for President in 2020 for any number of reasons.
2. The infamous video clip from 2018 of him bragging about getting the Ukrainian prosecutor fired a few years earlier is actually a big piece of evidence in support of what I've said here. There's no way in hell even someone as dumb as Biden would go out and openly brag about that kind of crooked conduct if he had any interest in running for President.
3. The Ukrainian election was held in two rounds in March and April 2019. The first round was a general election (March 31st), and the second round was a run-off between the top two candidates (April 21st), since none of the 30+ candidates got a majority of the vote in the first round.
4. Biden probably panicked after Zelensky was one of the finalists in the preliminary round, since it was clear he'd be the overwhelming favorite to win the election in April (Zelensky eventually won the run-off with 73% of the vote), and would be an anti-corruption crusader in office. So he quickly cobbled together a "campaign kickoff announcement" for a campaign kickoff rally that ended up getting delayed multiple times and was then orchestrated as a pathetic, half-assed speech with several hundred union members in Philadelphia.
Biden probably figured that running for President would shield him from any accountability for his actions -- by either the U.S. or Ukrainian governments.
