That’s true - I never thought of it that way because I’m the only person in the house who eats chili. So when I make a pot of chili, I throw the rice in and eat it for every meal until it’s gone. It’s usually 3 days of non-stop chili. Needless to say, I get so sick of it that it’s a long time before I make another pot lol.
