Senators just asked the President's legal team to lay out all the times the President was denied due process by the House and asked if Adam Schiff's constant leaking to the media makes this all the fruit of the poisonous tree! Schiff is getting wrecked today.

A Senator asked the House Democrats how they respond to the President's lawyers pointing out that the House is demanding privileged information while saying the whistleblower information should be hidden. Nadler completely ignores the whistleblower part because he has no answer.The Senate GOP asks why, if the House Democrats were so confident in the facts of their case, did they not allow the House Republicans and the Presidents lawyers the right to witnesses and due process. Pat Cipollone calls out Adam Schiff and says that he has learned that whenever Schiff says a witness is irrelevant it only means that the witness is bad for the Democrats lol.

The Presidents lawyers slam the Democrats for thinking so little of the American people that they would say we can't be trusted to decide who the President is. I agree. It's flat out insane that the Democrats have made that one of their central arguments. It's why they are losing.p>

Adam Schiff just asked what is to stop a President from using his intelligence agencies and DOJ to investigate his political opponents just literally ignoring that President Obama did that to Donald Trump. Everytime he speaks he is accusing President Trump of doing what they did.

Well, I've not a brilliant mind like Mollie ... but I do have a guess.

I doubt any judge, including the Chief Justice, would single-handedly unmask a whistleblower without litigation of the asserted protections in the WB Protections Act.

The Senate, after the trial, should step up to the plate and begin an investigation of its own into the WB process, the changes made to accommodate this WB and the findings by Atkinson (the 18th witness)

I'd also suggest the Senate subpoena Schiff's staff back to Jul 1, 2019.

Eric's name will be dropped more than once ... inviting a follow-up subpoena.
