The whole idea of Senate calling witnesses is bogus.

In an impeachment trial, The House is the prosecutor, the President’s team the defense. The prosecution presents their case, witnesses and evidence of why they impeached. The House presented their case then rested their case.

The defense, the President’s lawyers, argued against the prosecution then rested their case.

Now the Senate considers the evidence as the jury, a group to render a verdict. Juries don’t call witnesses or introduce new evidence, they judge on what’s in the record.

This whole sham is spin, framing the Senate trial as inclusive of all roles. If Senate effectively tries to join the prosecution, they will do as much damage to the Constitution as the House’s sham impeachment. .

Stunned? Really? It is the Dim playbook. It is Nancy's Wrap Around Smear - make an accusation, feed it to the media, & then investigate it.

They keep doing it over & over again. When the first lie is beaten down, come up with another, and another, and another. Then go back & revive the first lie. If they get 1 witness, there will be a need for another witness and another, and another.......

I'm stunned that we are repeatedly subjected to it & the R's keep falling for it believing if they play nice the Dims will stop.

They will NEVER stop!!!
