Missed most of Ken Starr, the doctor billing office called. Must have been just reading script, could not understand all I wanted was how much the insurance paid for only 4 items. She’s talking to me like I’m in 1st grade. Finally I had enough, had to tell her I an a degreed accountant and she needs to quit reading her script and listen to what I’m asking for. She gave me the answer for the 1st charge, then proceeded to explain to me how to add and subtract. I stopped her, said all I had been asking for the whole conversation was that number, and just give me that number for the other 3 charges. Told her what a waste of time, she needs to listen to the question people ask her.

I hate being rude, but I can only take so much.

The preamble was once required to be memorized by students to graduate from grammar school. It is no longer a requirement, so for many younger people this needed to be stated.

My mom, in the last few years, thought she was still a child and didn’t understand why her mom, dad and brothers weren’t there. A few minutes before she passed, I rubbed her frowned forehead gently, and told her it was OK, she was going to be with her mom, dad and brothers. That’s the last thing I said to her.

*** We visited recently in the hospital where she told us repeatedly, I want to go home, and she didn’t mean her earthly home. ***

That's what my grandmother (my dad's mother) said in 1976 - when she was 66.
That is what my sister, who is 68 and in hospice - is saying today...she wants to go be with her daughter, who died in 2008 @ 36.

Most people don't live to ripe old ages in my family - on my dad's side.
My dad, WW2 combat vet, gone @ a week into age 64. My grandfather, WW1 combat vet... gone @ 67, a week short of 68...
I know nothing about my mom' side - she died @ 39.

Sorry for jumpin in. I know it's not quite the same. Thanks for letting me get it out...I just found out about my sister.
